MOUNTAIN VIEW COTTAGE IN ASHEVILLE, NC

My husband and I rented this cottage over the Thanksgiving weekend. While it sleeps four, we found it perfect for two. You can sit on the porch and not hear street noise or people's voices, but you're only a mile or so from a major road with grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations - everything you need for a pleasant stay. You're also quite close to major highways that will take you in any direction you choose and only 10 minutes to downtown Asheville and it's fantastic restaurants/bars/entertainment if that's your heart's desire. The cottage is spotless, although it's super comfy as opposed to fancy. If you're into fancy, go to the Grove Park Inn or another high end establishment. The directions provided by the owner were easy to follow; no GPS needed. We will return to the Asheville area soon and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We rented this cottage for a ladies get-a-way and to see the biltmore for christmas. It was so clean and cozy and we so enjoyed our stay. The owners live close and were so nice and helpful,but did not bother us otherwise.I would recommend this cottage and plan to return again with my husband.

We spent a lovely fall weekend at this mountain cottage with our two dogs. Although the driveway is sometimes hard to find (especially in the dark), the house is in a great setting - close to downtown, yet secluded and private. The porch is great for enjoying a mountain view. We also appreciated having the fully stocked kitchen, wireless internet, and TV.
