Vacation is .......
.... Where your heart opens.
In Mallorca, we have created a space for you your outs. Just leave behind the noise, the rush, the everyday.
Pause, take a deep breath.
Secluded from the tourist bustle is located in the hills of Manacor, the completely renovated Finca Mi Corazon in the east of the island. For me it was love at first sight.
Nestled in a 21 000 m2, beautiful, enclosed grounds with huge pool and beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, an oasis of well developed, in which up to 6 people can leave everyday life behind.
The location provides even in hot summer nights comfortable temperatures. A light wind does the rest.
The rooms are flooded with light, in midsummer in turn protect shutters and thick walls from the heat. In winter, a fireplace, and a heater for a comfortable room temperature provides.
A really special place. If you are sitting under the tree in front of the house, drops off all ballast and you just feel good only.
Mi Corazon consists of two bedrooms, a kitchen and a living / dining room with fireplace and two bathrooms en suite. A bathroom is separated by a sliding door from the bedroom.
Both rooms have a bed with the dimensions 180 x 200 cm.
If required, further is a very good sofa bed for two persons in the living room. It is also possible instead of the sofa bed to use an extra bed.
If you enjoy cooking, this is in the fully equipped kitchen as well as in the barbecue area for pleasure.
In addition, you do not need to miss your favorite shows Bundesliga or even on vacation. A modern satellite system was installed, of course, well-Fi.
The house in the Llevant (German: East) is also an ideal place for golfers, nature lovers, hikers, mountain bikers or simply for relaxing holiday and a central starting point for further activities of any kind, because Mallorca is an island with many faces. There is a lot to discover.
The landscape is varied and impressive.
For hikers, this island is a perfect choice. Tours through dense forests, past rocky formations and sparkling waterfalls, ensure a lasting impression. There are, depending on the level, also walks through the steep parts of the mountain. The goal of these tours is often the sea. The contrast of woods and rocks to the blue sea is very impressive.
Bikers come to Mallorca at their expense. It can be put together very nice trips where many impressions are to be collected.
There is no question that the water on the island is very popular. Meet active people with Mallorca always a good choice.
Anyone who looks a bit outside the tourist centers, will find wonderful old building, giving the feeling of being in another time. Small markets and romantic town invite you to a shopping trip or a relaxing café. The food and wine of this region provide exceptional culinary delights.
The Non smoking house is furnished with great attention to detail, you should still missing something, so please let us but please be happy with. I would be remiss not to point out that there is a power pole on the neighboring property.
The Llevant (German: East), as named on the east side of the island of Majorca the landscape zone includes the municipalities of Arta, Capdepera, Manacor, Son Servera and Sant Llorenç des Cardassar (San Lorenzo).
Hills and mountains, cliffs and sandy beaches, idyllic coves and fertile fields make the landscape area a kind of Mallorca concentrate. Nowhere on the island all the elements are combined in such a narrow space. This is true not only in the geographical sense, but in much more.
Wind, weather and rain shaped rolling hills of limestone, covered by mastic and Ginstersträuchen, heather, wild or feral olive trees, pine trees and Aleppo pines, and surrounded by the scent of lavender bushes, rosemary and cistus. Like a common thread of garriga runs through the East. High above the Cap Ferrutx one looks over the Sierra de ARTANA, with the highest elevation (509 meters) from Son Salvador, down to the first 300 meters deep dragon caves Coves del Drac.
The northeast waits Llevant with numerous bays on, strung like beads of Majoricas, including the famous beaches of Cala Millor, Sa Coma and S'Illot that have long since gone from tip to ground target.
To the west of the Llevant are the vast fields of agriculture in the district of Sant Llorenç and Manacor. Work, pull the plow, carrying sacks full of grain, from a sinia (a Moorish water well) to pump water around the axis in endless circles, all work performed countless donkeys and mules. Gradually they were replaced by modern tractors and machinery. The horses in Mallorca had nothing to do with all the work, possibly pull a cart, which is not so much used for transport purposes, as the Mallorcan horses are top sellers.
Twice a year, can be found in the Llevant all Traber fans, betting shop owners and breeders on the harness racing track of Manacor, when it comes to the Gran Premio de Tres Años para Potros (trotting races of the three year olds). Not the nobles began breeding horses, but in the early 20th century, the farmers from the Llevant.
Llevant has the youngest national park on the island of Mallorca. He was declared in November 2001 on the protection area NATURAL PARC DE LA PENÍNSULA DE LLEVANT and comprises a total of 21 507 hectares of which 16 232 ha of land and 275 ha of sea area 5. It is located in the northeast of the area. One can find unspoiled bays and mountains with numerous dwarf palms. Among the birds there are the Audouin's gull, the peregrine falcon and the booted eagle. Most tortoises Mallorca are housed at this nature park
The Mediterranean climate of the region Llevant are short, warm and humid winters and long, dry and sometimes very hot summer. In particular, the summer ocean winds affect the microclimate of areas close to the sea, which are much milder. The average amount of precipitation that falls to 90% from autumn to late spring, amounts to 450-500 mm / m² per year.
The winds, which meet on the Balearic island of Mallorca, already called the natives for centuries: Tramuntana, Ponenet, Migjorn and Llevant, the four big brothers, and their cousins gregale, Mestral, Llebetx and Xaloc. The winds are often named after the landscapes and mountains, such as Tramuntana Sierra Tramuntana, Llevant, Sierra de Llevant etc.
On an island like Mallorca, who lived mainly from fishing and agriculture well into the 20th century, it was vital to know the winds like a family member. What wind brings rain, dries out the tender shoots, piled the sea to life-threatening waves on? Which caressing cool the face, irons clothes, dry the cut grain for threshing, the fishermen bring back safely into the harbor? Friend or foe, refreshment or natural disaster?
The cold Tramuntana from the west and north must be measured only on the mountains named after him and huge waves pile up to the cliffs before it can pounce on the Raiquer and Pla. Then he lowers the temperatures in the interior noticeably.
Colleagues Ponenet and Llevant reach hurricane strength, especially if they do not come straight from the east or west, but fly in a light Norkurve on the island, because then they hit far and wide to no obstacle.
The West Wind Ponent cools and softens summer days as breeze, whilst in winter it often brings rain clouds in tow with it.
The east wind Llevant in warm robe is warm in summer and can reach hurricane strength in the winter.
The Migjorn from the south, however, are undecided spring and fall days brilliance and warmth of summer and turns summer days in an open-air sauna. In spring and autumn it can shine golden sagging days and in summer it reduces hot smog over the island.
There remain the four Coussins:
The north-north-east wind gregale is reliable wet, which is why the farmers like him, but the curse vacationers.
The south-south-east wind Xaloc is the sauna wind. He pushes humid summer heat and winter buckets of rain before it. In the summer rain he invites the typical red sand, which he brings from Morocco, from the island. Everything shone once in bright white, then dyed more or less red.
The south-south-west wind blows Llebetx the humidity and heat of the Azores on Mallorca away.
The north-north-west wind Mestral makes even the most ambitious clouds no chance.
This old traditional rules have lost none of their Gültikeit. Similarly, one can the relationship between wind and sea not separate, they go together like fish and water.
