This is a recently renovated five bedroom villa with a pool and jacuzzi. It is located on the 11th hole of The Links golf course. It is a 10 minute walk to Casa de Campo Hotel and 15 minute walk to Minitas Beach, or 5 minutes by golf cart
The location is ideal not only for golfers but also family vacations. It i s close to or has easy access to all of Casa de Campo activities: tennis, the beach, shooting, riding, Altos de Chavón, and the new Casa de Campo Marina.
The villa is an open style design full of tropical Caribbean architectural features. The centerpiece is a 30’ x 30' great room, with a vaulted beamed ceiling that peaks at 30 feet.
All furnishings in the villa are new. They include furniture and objects d’art from Bali, Thailand, Brazil, and of course the Dominican Republic.
Adjacent to the family room is the dining area. The focal point of the dining area is a huge table that seats 12. It was custom made in nearby La Romana. Like the entire villa, the kitchen is all new with marble counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a mahogany louvered pass-thru window to the pool. The pool and jacuzzi are set in a coral tile deck. It is fenced in so it is totally private. At the pool there are lounges, a teak table, six rattan chairs and a giant umbrella. Also, there is a gas BBQ grill and iPod or MP3 amplified speaker.
There is a 2nd outdoor patio facing the golf course, with new rattan furniture. A lovely spot to watch the sun set.
The villa has a total of five full bedrooms. There is also a maid’s quarters and full laundry facility.Cable TV and DVD in each bedroom. Three bedrooms have king sized beds, the other two have two double beds each. Total number of beds in the villa is seven.
All beds have 400 thread all-cotton sheets, cotton blankets to assure maximum sleeping comfort. Each bedroom also has an overhead fan, mahogany louvered windows and large closets. Each also has it’s own remote controlled air-conditioning unit and marble tiled private bathroom. Two bedrooms have private outdoor tropical showers adjacent to the bathroom.
There is a an excellent supermarket at the Casa de Campo Marina where guests can pick up all their needs including wine, liquor and beer.
There is a maid on duty 8 hours a day and a property management team. Both assure maximum guest satisfaction. The maid prepares a breakfast every morning and lunch. The maid cleans the entire villa everyday and does all laundry including guests.
Arrangements can be made for baby sitters,a cook and any other special needs.
The owner is an American, a former advertising and marketing executive. He divides his time between New York City and the DR. His visits to La Romana predated Casa de Campo. 'I watched Casa de Campo being built and stayed at hotel many times. I understand and am committed to Casa de Campo's tradition and its 'roots' of quiet tropical elegance and dedicated service.
Owner is in the Dominican Republic every month as he started a foundation that is supporting 4 orphanages in the Dominican Republic.(CharlesDeckerFoundation.org)

I selected Golf Villa 119, because of it's within what was the original Casa de Campo which consisted of the hotel, 80 casitas and 5 ocean front 'cottages'. GV 119's location is ideal: surrounded by tropical green flora, and stunning renovation. 'I can vouch' that it is very comfortable for one person or as many as 12 family or friends.
'I play a lot of tennis, and golf and enjoy visiting nearby islands like Saona and Catalina for snorkeling and lunches on the beach or at sea. I travel around the country extensively in conjunction with my foundation. The Dominican Republic is a large and beautiful country, and the people in the campo and small towns are expecially friendly and welcoming. I have discovered and enjoy it's wonderful culture and history. And the starting point are the friendly always smiling Dominican people.'
A quick note to let you know we had a great time and loved our 9 days in Paradise!
We enjoyed the villa and the wonderful cooking by Isabel. We also enjoyed meeting Sardis (she is lovely) and visiting the orphanage Ninos de Cristo. We were very moved by the children and the staff.
All together, everything worked out great. We all returned very happy!
We'll keep in touch. Take good care,
