Vienna's embassy district, 5-10 minutes walk to the Naschmarkt, the Opera House, Concert Hall - with access to the garden - to stroll in the center of Vienna - yet still fantastically located

AMAZING gem in the Wieden neighborhood of Vienna

My partner and I decided to spend Christmas in Vienna this year. I scoured VRBO and HomeAway listings for just the right apartment. So many properties seemed so spartan & cold. Then I came across the Aregger apartment and instantly fell in love with it.
When we arrived on 12/21, we IMMEDIATELY felt at home. Ulrike and Josef are the perfect hosts. The apartment is beautifully decorated and situated on a quiet and peaceful inner courtyard/garden in the lovely Wieden neighborhood, just around the corner from the Karlsplatz. It is located just minutes from the Naschmarkt...(my absolute culinary mecca) and many other major attractiions. I would recommend the Aregger apartment 10 times over to anyone visiting Vienna

We just returned home from a lovely stay at this most excellent apartment . We have used Home Away and VRBO on multiple occasions and this place is a stand out! The location is perfect, the decor in keeping with the area and the building. The photos don't do it justice. Ulrike and Joseph were gracious hosts. We would most assuredly stay there on a return trip and plan to do so in the not so distant future.

An enjoyable stay

We had a very pleasant stay in this attractively furnished apartment, situated in an elegant old building in the city center. The windows give onto a pretty garden, away from the street noise. The building is conveniently located within walking distance of historic monuments, theaters, shopping.
When we arrived the apartment was clean and tidy and the bathroom and kitchen were well equipped.
The owner is friendly, accommodating and unintrusive.
We would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a charming, well situated, relaxing place in Vienna.

Delightful, Comfortable and Convenient Location

We had the pleasure of staying 5 days in this very stylish, comfortable apartment. A quiet retreat with an attractive garden outlook and all amenities provided. A tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean and cosy place to settle in whilst exploring the wonderful attractions of Vienna. Within walking distance of the inner city, around the corner from the Karlsplatz and the famous baroque Karlskirche and a few minutes walk to the tram. It must be one of the best private apartments in which to stay whilst in Vienna. The charming and friendly hosts made us feel welcome and at ease. We would certainly enjoy staying there again on any future visit to the city. We used a very convenient and low priced underground parking garage just a short walk from the apartment. Great value.

Charming, comfortable and convenient

The photos don't do justice to the apartment! It is lighter, more pleasant, and more comfortable than one would think from the pictures.
The garden, and the direct access to it, was a real treat. Yes, a glass of wine, surrounded by greenery, and no city noise... wonderful.
As other reviews have said, much of Vienna is within easy walking distance. And there is a supermarket less than 2 blocks away.

The Areggers are charming and helpful.

Who could ask for anything more?
