: Wasserbillig (Luxembourg)
Oberbillig is a former fishing village on the southern Mosel wine. Directly across the Moselle, the Sauer flows into the Moselle. These two rivers form the border with the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Between the two places and Oberbillig Wasserbillig a small ferry runs daily, so that they can easily cross the Moselle.
The small town Oberbillig is the ideal location for walkers, cyclists and bikers.
A very well developed network of cycle paths along the rivers Mosel, Saar and Sauer opens up countless possibilities for varied cycling.
Long walks along the vineyards and varied hiking trails or in the Eifel and Hunsrück offer for every taste.
A visit to the historic city of Trier, Germany's oldest city, is highly recommended.
