If you're looking for nightlife, clubs and full on entertainment, don't bother reading any further !
If, however, you want peace, quiet, tranquility and views to die for, this could just be the place for you. Beautiful villa, lovely gardens, nicely laid out and more than enough room to accommodate everyone. A fantastic pool, probably the best pool for "proper" swimming we've ever had and enough space and sun loungers to keep everyone happy. There is also a small separate pool for toddlers as the main pool is around 4ft deep at the shallow end.
The villa is located high in the hills above Bedar village (stunning views), probably around a mile and a half from the village and up a dirt track but certainly worth the drive. It is well equipped, clean, comfortable and with plenty of outside dining options as well as a large dining table indoors if you should need it. All bedrooms are of a really good size with plenty of wardrobe/storage space, air con and mosquito screens on the windows. There is a TV and CD player if you want it, plenty of board games/cards to play and a selection of books to read.
There are plenty of beaches to visit, all about a 20 -30 min drive from the villa (depending on which beach you are heading for) but I'm afraid we spent most of our time lounging by the pool doing very little which was the whole point of our holiday !
All in all, a lovely place to spend a holiday, especially if you are looking for somewhere to completely switch off, chill out and relax and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend La Cuerda if this is what you are looking for.
