FEWO2 COMFORT LIVING. WITH BALCONY, FANTASTIC MOUNTAIN VIEWS, QUIET LOCATION, OVERLOOKING THE CASTLE

This apartment is really lovely. The listing is accurate but doesn't manage to describe how well equipped it is, and the reality is better than the photos. You have a fabulous view of the castle from the balcony. We were delighted to find a well-stocked kitchen with everything that we needed including dishwasher tablets, cling film, foil etc. There was also a small stock of essentials and Ellen had put a bottle of beer and wine in the fridge. The bathroom was great with handwash/shampoo provided and the washing machine was a real bonus. All was spotlessly clean and very well-maintained. Ellen & Wolfgang were perfect hosts, never intrusive but always there if you needed them and happy to speak to us in our halting German! Ellen speaks very good English anyway!

The area is also very scenic, and plenty to do. We hired bikes from the shop by the Bahnhof and were very pleased with them.We cycled just about everywhere (nearly all on cycle lanes) and did do one walk in the mountains. Fuessen was a lovely town with plenty of cafes and restaurants and was within easy walking distance. Our only regret was that we hadn't gone for longer as there was so much more that we would have liked to have done. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.
