4th Arrondissement Pompidou Le Marais Apartment Rental Photos and Description
Authentical, luxury comfort in historical surroundings, sleeps 2-4, free Wifi
The apartment and its exclusive location are ideal for Honeymooners - and for those who would like to live some very special days in the heart of Paris! - You are just 2 minutes walk from the Seine border where you can enjoy romantic scenery day and night.
This luxury apartment has been completely renovated and redecorated in late 2010. Sophisticated comfort and modern design integrate harmoniously in this historical building from 1650. The authenticity is respected: high ceilings (3.40 m height), original beams, oak parquet floor, three large windows overlooking a quiet and typical Parisian courtyard. The apartment provides all comfort to make you feel at home.
The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor, completely quiet.
Well-equipped open kitchen bar (microwave, extractor hood, induction cooker, Nespresso Machine Pixie). Dining corner with extending table. - Bathroom with Italian shower and wardrobe. Separate WC with washbasin.
HD television, cable television with 150 channels. Wireless broadband Internet free of charge. Free phone calls in about 50 countries (landlines).
The situation of the apartment is privileged. So close to the Seine river bank. On Sundays, the George Pompidou expressway on the Seine riverbank is closed for cars and opens to pedestrians, bicycles and inline skaters. It is a nice bicycle ride from the apartment to the Eiffel Tower, on the river bank. You will see all the historical buildings in a different way. Or you take the water taxi to go to the Eiffel Tower.
Since April 2013, over 2 km on the left Seine bank, between the Orsay Museum and the quai Branly, have been converted from a speedway into a beautiful 'promenade', with nice gardens and views on the Seine and Paris: 'Les Berges'. In a few months, it became the place to be with restaurants, bars, sports and music events - day and night you can enjoy a lot of activities and meet people there.
In the summer (July and August), you will discover 'Paris Plage' just across the street from the apartment: the Seine border is transformed into a beach, with sun beds, sand, games, music, dance - a great summer festival!
Paris is the city of shopping - and you are very close to one of the most creative shopping areas: le Marais. Most of the shops are open on Sundays (that gives you more time for the big fashion stores the other days ;).
Just on the Ile Saint Louis or in walking distance around the island you have the choice of hundreds of restaurants and bars. Some are very original, e.g. in one of them you are served by authentic Opera-Singers: they will accompany your dinner with opera airs from Puccini, Mozart, Verdi etc. Un unforgettable evening, even if you are not an opera specialist!

I love re-inventing houses and flats, imagining new homes with decoration and reshaping the space. Over time, this became a new professional adventure. I really enjoyed renovating every square meter of our flat on Ile Saint Louis.
Patrick purchased this apartment in 2010
Why Patrick chose 4th Arrondissement Pompidou Le Marais
As a Parisian, I love Paris! I wanted to create a special place in this unique city, where my children would love to live, later. In the meantime, I thought it would be great to offer our flat to all Paris fans and Paris lovers.
There is no place to live more central, right in the historical heart of Paris, where you can really live like a local.
What makes this apartment unique
Situated in the oldest and most central part of Paris, on the island Ile Saint Louis, just minutes of walk from Notre Dame, le Marais, Saint Germain etc. The apartment is very calm, located in a typical Parisian courtyard. I tried to combine modern comfort, elegant decoration with the respect of the history 17th century building. I hope you will like it, too!
