About The Owner
We are offering this apartment as a team. My mac-book-father owns the block with a friend, he is taking care of e-mail-requests and bookings. Our local partner is kaufbar (www.kaufbar-berlin.de). Check-In: Tuesday - Thursday from 3 p.m. and Friday - Monday from 1 p.m until midnight.
Why The Owner chose Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg
For restaurants and night life, you don´t need to go elsewhere. Famous clubs like Berghain are in F´hain. Small bars and clubs you find in Revaler Straße and around Boxhagener Platz. For pizza you find the italian place 'Ritrovo' at the corner Wühlischstraße/Gabriel-Max-Straße. For Schnitzel and high quality german food I would recommend 'Schwarzer Hahn' in Seumestraße. For Portuegese you find the 'Lisboa tapas bar' in Krossener Str. 21-22, directly at Boxhagener Platz. There are some excellent Burger places at Boxhagener Platz, also vegan. Any italian restaurant in the area offers better quality to moderate prices than the places I have seen in Rome and Fiorence this year. From my experience there is no cheating. But I would recommend to avoid the places in Simon-Dach-Straße.
For breakfast I would recommend kaufbar opposite the street and Proviant next door. Alternatively you find nice breakfast in a russian restaurant, the 'Datscha' at the corner Gabriel-Max-Straße/Wühlischsraße.
For shopping you find a lot of places in Wühlischstraße and around Boxhagener Platz. Don´t miss the market on Saturday and Sunday.
What makes this apartment unique
Here some additional information. Just 50 m from the apartment you find a tram station. This line - M13 - goes to U- and S-Bahnhof Warschauer Straße. From there you got many directions, e.g Ostbahnhof, Alexanderplatz, Hackescher Markt (Museumsinsel, Berliner Dom, Straße under den Linden), Friedrichstraße (Brandenburger Tor, Reichstag) or Hauptbahnhof.
Alternatively, you could take opposite direction to Ostkreuz. At Ostkreuz you find the Berliner Ring S41 and S42 (inner circle line).
