Casa Lana is a large 4 bedroom villa with swimming pool, situated in Adsubia only a 3 minute drive or 10 minute walk from the soft sandy beach of Javea. The Villa is of a typical Spanish design with beamed ceilings and Tuscan stone arch ways, air-conditioned large lounge, a very large second sitting room, 2 dining areas, fully equipped large kitchen and large naya with beautiful views over Mount Montgo. The 3 upper bedrooms all have a air-conditioning and the lower cooler bedroom, has fans. The 2000 sq meter gardens are well stocked with beautiful palm trees and other Mediterranean plants, private drive way and lots of parking space. The villa comes with all utensils bed linen and towels. The lovely swimming pool ( 8 X 4 metres) is surrounded by terracing where there is plenty of room for the tables, chairs and sun loungers, which are provided for your comfort.

The master bedroom-with en suite features a large wet room as well as air conditioning. All the bedrooms on the upper floor have air-conditioning with the downstairs bedroom,with its cooler location, have has fans.

The kitchen has marble work tops, a large pantry, plenty of cupboard space, a fridge freezer, washing machine, Seimans fan oven and all the utensils for aspiring chefs.

The dining areas are varied with a luxurious internal marbled dining table, dining alfresco on the large Naya or at the pool side table.

Note: Air-conditioning incurs a weekly charge of £60

Ideal spacious family accommodation

This large and extremely spacious property was ideal for our two families made up of 8 adults. Ample outside space to enjoy the both the pool area and garden. We made good use of the BBQ and both the poolside and covered naya dining areas. Plenty of room to spread out and relax within the house for those non sunbathers.
Maria Carmen very helpful and on our arrival even came to find us when we got lost on the final leg of our journey!
We would highly recommend this delightful property.

Family holiday July 2014

What a fabulous villa!! Ideal for the 7 of us with plenty of space to do our own thing if we wished. Wonderful pool and lovely gardens. Marie Carmen, the villa manager, explained and showed everything to us and the Welcome Pack was very welcome as we arrived on Sunday. Marie Carmen told us where to go to get more provisions and was generally very helpful. Javea is a resort to suit all types of people including the very brave mountain cyclists who we met whilst walking the surrounding hills!! The beach in Arenal is ideal for fun seekers and sandcastle makers and the Port end certainly had some nice restaurants without needing to book. It is advisable however to book beforehand if you want to eat in the Historic part - especially on a Saturday night. Sadly a week is not long enough and thank you Tim for providing a fabulous home for us to enjoy albeit for such a short time.

Another super holiday at casa lana

Another year, another fantastic time! Yet again casa lana provided us for the perfect holiday. Weather was super, sunshine everyday! casalana was clean and well kept as always. Welcome pack on arrival and good communication with owner before and during stay. Pool area well maintained and the pool was cleaned twice a week whilst we were there. Relaxing gardens to spend midnight walks in whilst the children were cooling off in the pool. Villa manager on hand for any issues that arose during our stay. Managed to stumble on another fiesta in the port with excellent fireworks! The arenal has been redone making it look even more beautiful. A new supermarket has been built a short distance away which was very convenient with lots of us staying! The big boys of the holiday enjoyed jet skiing, fishing, banana boating and going out on the pedalos! So much to do and the villa caters for all ages, playing in the pool to relaxing in the shade. New air conditioning units were fantastic and well worth the extra at this time of year! Thanks again Tim for another magical family holiday.

Fabulous holiday / wonderful villa!!

Recently spent 8 nights here with my husband, and another couple. The villa was perfect in every way and very clean. We were shown everything on arrival by the villa manager, who was very helpful, and there was a lovely welcome pack for us in the fridge.

The pool area is huge and you get the sun all day, but there are also plenty shaded areas if it's too hot.
We were about a 15 minute walk to the hustle and bustle of the Arenal. (great restaurants and cocktail bars here.) When going out at night, we would either walk back or get a taxi, which only cost about 6 or 7 euros.

Javea is an ideal place for a holiday and we had an absolutely brilliant time here! Best of both worlds as the villa is so quiet and peaceful but also so handy for walking to the town. Just bliss!

Another point to note is that all contact with the owner regarding bookings etc was hassle free, and he was flexible with our dates. :-)

I would definitely recommend this villa.

To forget the busy world of the city and business, to rest and relax, Javea is the ideal spot and a haven of scenic delight. Javea, declared by the World Health Organisation to be environmentally near perfect is the finest resort on the Costa Blanca, without the high rise hotels that dominate so many Spanish resorts.Javea (Xàbia) is set in a privileged corner of the Costa Blanca and is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and unique locations on the Mediterranean coast.

Framed by the capes of San Antonio and La Nao, this small town lies north of the Costa Blanca bathed by the Mediterranean and sheltered by Mount Montgo. Its varied landscape, both on the coast and inland, coupled with it a mild climate throughout the year and a wide range of tourist attractions make this an ideal destination for young and old await you in this beautiful area.

Javea is made up of three distinct areas the Old Town, The Port and The Arenal

Old Town

This part of Javea still retains its peculiar narrow streets dotted with white walls, arched doorways, Gothic windows and wrought iron railings, all topped by rough stone property in the area.

The most remarkable building is no doubt in the historic centre is the fortified church of St. Bartholomew built from the fourteenth to the sixteenth century. The main work falls within the Elizabethan Gothic. Its importance and significance were such that in 1931 it was declared a National Artistic Monument.

In the shadow of the church is the daily market frequented by locals and tourists where you can browse and then enjoy tapas and refreshments

The church square is surrounded by wonderful bars and restaurants.

Travel down the hill and you will arrive at the main town plaza underneath is a 2 storey car park! The plaza accommodates the town market each Thursday which should not be missed.

The Port

The origins of port go back to the fifteenth century, but its most successful period was the nineteenth century for the export of raisins. When this trade was in crisis at the end of the century it went on to develop a purely fishing activity. The active port houses a fish market which is always popular with locals and visitors upon the arrival of the boats each evening where fresh fish can be purchased. The local museum boasts relics of the Iberic, Roman and Arabic civilisations.

Its charms are further enhanced by the sculptural shape of the Church of Our Lady of Loreto , which opened in 1967, an important example of religious architecture in art highlighted by the bold design of its lines and the conception of space. The materials used are concrete (cement, iron) but its ceiling is of red pine in the form of boat keel represents the fisherman's boat.

The port area is full of excellent restaurant’s and tapas bars

The Arenal

Along the 25 km. of coastline, Javea possesses a variety of beaches and coves that are noted for their natural beauty, clear waters and Mediterranean forest environment. From open beaches of rock or sand in which all kinds of water sports (boating, jet skiing, windsurfing, canoeing, water skiing, fishing etc.)

The Arenal beach, located in the centre of the bay of Javea, is the main tourist resort, frequented by swimmers for their fine sand and shallow waters. At its northern end was an important Roman settlement, which now houses the Hotel Parador de Turismo de Jávea. Summer nights in Arenal are lively and a bustling place for families of all age groups. This nucleus is undoubtedly the most cosmopolitan area of Javea, with extensive leisure facilities.

A security deposit of £200 pounds is required as a damage deposit. This will be returned to the client at the end of the holiday period after the final clean and check over has taken place. Any undue damage to the property may be deducted from this once agreed with the client.

Late arrival charge after 2200 is15 Euro per hour
Upon acceptance of price the client must pay 25% of total cost. Balance is due no later than 12 weeks before arrival. Refunds are not available after this date unless the Villa is re-let at the same price. The security deposit is due at the same time as the balance payment.
Optional air conditioning is available at £60 per week payable to the Villa Manager.
