Our Stay at Villa Captiva from 8th Oct

after looking at the photos of the villa and seeing all that was included for our stay. I was still surprised at the size and comfort we found there. The bedroom with on-suite was very nice. I used the other double bedroom, and used the Family bathroom. The water was always hot and plentyful. The other two bedrooms also looked comfortable, each had a tv and plenty of cupboard space.
We made use of the swimming pool and the Jacuzzi. very welcome after a day in the parks. There was a card on the kitchen table addressed to us and with a message welcoming us and wishing us an enjoyable stay. A very nice touch.. the villa was spotlessly clean and each bathroom had a good supply of towels and face cloths..The Tv enabled us to catch up with the local news and especially the Weather reports. Also the blue directory on the kitchen table helped us with the Channel usage. Another thoughtful touch was the Villa's phone number on the notice board by the phone. Very handy when I was confirming some bookings I had made in England.. I will most definitly reccommend this Villa to friends who wish to visit Florida.
My favourte places to eat are Denny's, Cracker Barrel, Ihop , Chilly's,
and Waffle House.. Apart from teh main Parks we did a Hot air Balloon trip with Orlando Balloon rides, I highly reccommend them, it was a fantastic trip. It included a champagne toast and a lovely breakfast at the Ramada Hotel where you return to after the trip. We also did the Discovery Cove day with a swim with the Dolphins. another marvellous experience, everything is included for the day. food, drinks, and all the equipment you need + special sunscreen that dosen't harm the animals. also while there visit the Aviary's and feed the birds, great fun..
We went to St. John's River for the airboat trip and saw lots of big alligators, amazing,plus a Bald Eagle sitting in a tree. wonderful..
Being in the Villa and not having any worries for the two weeks was an added bonus for me. The villa has a very good security system and is in a nice area. also the pool is in a covered area and in the morning you can sit by the pool and watch the sun rise. It has a nice table and chairs + plus loungers, these were also well used..
the Kitchen is well equipped as well with everything you need. I liked the lounge by the kitchen as we could see into the pool area and garden..
Kissimmee is a good place to stay and has good roads to get to the various Parks. Thank you for the use of t Villa
