This was so perfect , we loved the owner's what A wonderful couple, we will be renting this again, very clean, bed was wonderful, close to everything stayed for nine days , and loved it . Thanks for sharing your home with us. Jack, and Mena Bates.
I rented this cabin to be my home base while exploring my family roots - I was born in Murphy as were my parents. And I was in Murphy to spread my dad's ashes. It was the perfect place, close enough to town for easy access and yet beautiful, quiet, peaceful and serene for contemplating the days activity. The sunset view is wonderful and the covered deck perfect. Plus the owners were very nice. I highly recommend this cabin.
The wife and i arrived for our week stay to find it exceptionally clean and well furnished on top of being beautifully decorated.Basically all your going to need is your food and possibly a few toiletries. After speaking with the owners on numerous occasions i can tell you they are concerned about your comfort and satisfaction. the views are outstanding ,after 7 trips to the are we feel they some of the best. All the major attractions are with a few hrs drive, such as Cherokee,Wayah bald,Dry falls,Clingmans dome etc.
while at the cabin we saw the deer and turkey numerous times. If your looking to get a taste of mountain living ,this is it,the absolute best.
My husband and I just spent a week here and I couldn't believe everything included in the house - just bring your clothes! The back deck is wonderful to sit on and watch for deer or just enjoy the mountain views. It was so nice to be greeted by Mr. Wright, you really knew he cared about our stay. The house is spacious, comfortable, and carefully decorated to let you feel right at home. The best part for me was the four sliding glass doors on the back of the house - a view from every room! House is close enough to town but far enough off the road to where you hear nothing but the birds. Would highly recommend to couples or families!
The three of us enjoy a most delightful stay in the mountain cabin. My sister said: “The view alone is reason enough to stay here”, and it came with every conceivable need for a great week. My sist brought stuff thinking “empty cabin” but never had need for anything they brought. It is a Great location for visits to Dollywood, Cabbage Patch Hospital, Trail of the Dragon along with stores and shopping. The lady of the house has a great eye for decorations that bring comfort to the home. Thank you for making such a lovely home available to us.

Beautiflly furnished, everything worked great, gorgeous views, well cared for property, and fully furnished with everything you need except food & bevs! Owners communicated very well, and were extremely helpful on arrival. Location is very private, yet within easy reach of grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Ideally situated within 45 minute drive of all the attractions of this region - Ocoee River Whitewater Rafting, Nantahayla Gorge for Kayaking, Cherohayla Skyway, Fontana Dam, the Waterfalls regions of Highlands/Franklin, the town of Cherokee & access to the Smoky Mountain National Park. We cooked most breakfasts and Grilled each night as this was such a relaxing retreat after a busy day of kayaking, hiking and seeing the sights, and enjoying the most beautiful sunsets & sunrises over the mountains. Would highly recommend to my friends, and already have!
The road accessing the property has gravel and is steep enough that it may be difficult in snow or ice, but we had no problem at all in our Jeep Grand Cherokee.
