Great Location, Nice Apartment!

Great location, nice apartment! Everything within walking distance, & the hub of public transportation is just around the corner at Jakominiplatz. A lively, bustling area with bakeries, cafes, shops & grocery. The apartment is situated just around the corner, so there's minimal traffic & crowd noise.

Don't hesitate to grab a late night Schnitzel from the street vendor. I returned more than once.

The Billa Grocery is around the corner to the left. Enter the mini mall & take the escalator down. It's open til 7 most nights.

We frequented the Sorger for breakfast & lunch. Note: the 10% off coupon at the bottom of your receipt! The cappuccino is much better here than at the Sacher Cafe. I was disappointed in the Sachertorte, too, but my collegues had some other very tasty pastries there.

The Opera House is a block away which was very convenient on a chilly night, especially when dressed more formally. Most mornings until 1pm, there's an open market just across the street.

Located at the edge of the Altstadt, everything is within walking distance. Herrengasse is open to pedestrians & tram only, & supports an array of upper end shops & the beautiful Kastner & Ohler department store. Check out the view from the top & have lunch, as well.

Tourist Info is midway down Herrengasse. The maps & schedule of events were very helpful. We walked to & up the Schlossberg, & to all the museums. If you're not up to walking, you can get a 24 hour, or multiple day transportation ticket.

The apartment is a 4th floor walk-up, but we really appreciated it. We indulged in Kaffee und Kuchen daily & returned home a bit lighter.

The bedroom mattress was firm & perfect! The sofa was a bit too firm & we recommended they add a pillow top. My sister-in-law resourcefully cushioned it with the extra duvet & slept comfortably, however.

Departure & arrival were flexible. The renter's are very nice & we appreciated their response to our 20 minute arrival notice & alternate departure arrangements. They offered their assistance, but we were in need of nothing. The apartment was clean & stocked with necessities.

Since a prepaid deposit is required, as Americans, it would have been costly to wire transfer. Fortunately, my daughter lives in Graz & was able to pay the deposit directly. I often stay at Airbnb's where PayPal is an option. Perhaps few Americans visit Graz, so there may not be a need for other options. I highly recommend that Americans do visit Graz & stay here!

Convenient and Very Pleasant

The apartment was quite nice- more spacious than it looks in the pictures. Everything was clean and new. The location is great- right near the public transportation hub at Jakomini Platz, next to the Opera, and right outside the central pedestrian zone. Bakeries, supermarket, and an open-air fruit and vegetable market are all close by. The owner was helpful and responsive.

Erwartungen Übertroffen

Wir sind mit unserem 15 Monaten alten Sohn und der Oma aus Deutschland angereist. Ausgemacht war das wir eine halbe Stunde vorher vor Ankunft anrufen sollten, dann würde jemand auf uns warten. Und so wie es ausgemacht war klappte es auch. Die Begrüßung war herzlich. Als Willkommensgeschenk wartete in der Wohnung eine Flasche Wein und eine Schachtel Pralinen. Unser kleiner bekam ein Kuscheltier. So eine Begrüßung ist der Hammer :-))) Die Wohnung...... Der Knaller. Es gibt wirklich nichts was fehlt. Alles ist sehr modern eingerichtet. Es ist zwar eine Altbau Wohnung aber dafür Top Saniert. Als gelernter Stuckateur kann ich das gut beurteilen. Die Lage ist Klasse. Das Parken direkt an der Wohnung stellt sich als schwieriger heraus. Die Parkhäuser sind sehr teuer, daher ist es sinvoll ausserhalb zu Parken und mit den Öffenltichen Verkehrsmittel zu pendeln. Zum be und entladen finden sich aber mit eine wenig Geduld immer ein Parkplatz. Das Appartement liegt im 4. Stock und es gibt keinen Aufzug. Auch der Eingangsbereich und das Treppenhaus deuten null darauf hin was sich dort oben verbirgt. Aber das Appartement entschädigt dafür sobald man es sieht. Alles im allem wirklich super. Der Preis ist genauso absolut gerechtfertigt. Wenn sie fragen zum Appartement haben schreiben Sie einfach eine Mail, die Appartement Besitzerin schreibt immer zurück, und kann ihnen sicherlich weiterhelfen. Wir können auf jedenfalls eine 100% ige weiter Empfehlung aussprechen, und werden auch unsere weiteren Besuche in Graz in diesem tollen Appartement in Zukunft verbringen. Ideal für einen Grazbesuch

Das Apartemnet ist eine kleine entzückende Wohnung mit Blick auf den Schloßberg, sauber, elegant und mit einer sehr netten, umkomplizierten Vermieterin.

Hunde sind herzlich willkommen, eine Freude für Hundebesitzer, sogar Futternäpfe sind gerichtet.

Die Lage ideal, alles zu Fuß erreichbar, das Operncafe zum Ausruhen, die Innenstadt vor der Nase, der Stadtpark angrenzend.

Eigentlich fällt es mir schwer das zu schreiben, denn dann ist das Apartement eher ausgebucht, aber was soll's, soviel Gastfreundlichkeit muss gelobt werden.

Schöne haustierfreundliche Unterkunft im Zentrum

Der Webauftritt ist aussagekräftig und enthält alle wichtigen Informationen, die Buchung war ohne Probleme. Der initiale Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war sehr freundlich, Fragen per mail wurden schnell beantwortet und Probleme schnell und unkompliziert gelöst.

Das Apartment ist gräumig und neu und modern eingerichtet, die Lage ist optimal für Unternehmungen im Stadtzentrum von Graz. Der Empfang durch die ausgesprochen tierfreundliche Vermieterin in Graz war sehr herzlich, so dass wir uns mit unseren beiden Hunden sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Einige nette Kleinigkeiten, wie z.B. eine Flasche Wein als Überraschung beim Ankommen haben einem das Gefühl gegeben, wirklich willkommen zu sein.

Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlendswerte Unterkunft in zentraler Lage, die wir jederzeit weiter empfehlen können.

Das einzige - im Vergleich zu allen anderen Punkten aber sehr kleine -Minus ist die schwierige Parksituation in der gesamten Innenstadt von Graz.

The apartment in the old town house in the center (with its historic old town / pedestrian zone) is located in a low traffic location (behind a small park). The apartment offers views of the Castle Mountain (15 minutes away). A balcony facing the courtyard leads into the nostalgic ambiance of an old leafy courtyard. The city itself offers with its southern flair (sidewalk cafés, spacious parks, well maintained bike paths, ...) great holiday mood. Ideal situation: With the car (Rosarium-underground car park opposite), 3 minutes walk to the Opera, 10 minutes to the theater, 5 min to Styrian farmers market, 1 minute public transport - within traditional coffee houses, restaurants, snack bars, Mc. Donalds and many shopping opportunities. Graz and the surrounding area offer culinary and cultural highlights: many destinations, apple wine taverns Street, Wine Street, Castle Street, lakes, hiking trails, spas, country, etc. id exhibition environment.
