In addition to the numerous hiking opportunities, it is quite possible to bike (possibly rent in Venerey Les Laumes) to explore the area. The area is hilly, but cycling is not very difficult in general. The many miles of bike paths along the nearby lying "Canal de Bourgogne" are also highly recommended and are "flat". For mountain bikers, there are many possibilities, such as an ATP tour through the village.
For water lovers, there are plenty of opportunities for swimming: the lake at Gros Bois, the "Lac de Pont" in Semur-en-Auxois, Vitteaux in the swimming pool or the pool in the "Parc de l'Auxois" Arnay-sous-Vitteaux.
Tennis courts, there are others in Flavigny-sur-Ozerain Venerey-les-Laumes and Montbard.
There is also a riding school nearby where you can rent horses.
There are also golf courses nearby, for example in Precy-sous-Thil (9 holes) and the beautiful golf course (9 and 18 holes) "Chateau de Chailly" in Pouilly-en-Auxois.
Climbing enthusiasts can climb in Haute Roche and Saffres.
