The house is built in the early 80s and is located in 1250 m altitude in MARUL. The two floors have a double bed room with additional bunk bed, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, and a kitchen. Each bedroom is equipped with a private toilet and a separate shower. Both floors have a location accessible from the respective kitchen balcony with fantastic views over the valley. The large garden belonging to the house and can be used for example for leisurely barbecues. Dishwasher and washing machine are available.
A supermarket is located in the resort, as well as the Marul organic.
The house is situated in the heart of MARUL, a huge Walser settlement in Great Walser Valley Biosphere Reserve at about 1300 meters above the sea. From there you have a magnificent view over both the mountains of Marultals, as well as in the Walser Valley across to the Swiss mountains. The exposed and yet idyllic location of the village, the typical architecture of the Walser, the Church of St. Catherine and the specialties of the neighboring dairy provide distinctive impressions.
Marul is an excellent starting point for bike tours, as well as various hiking or mountain biking. Typical targets are the Laguz Alpe, the Freiburger Hütte, the High Frassen with Frassenhütte, Alpe Steris, the Red Wall, and not least the local mountain Kellaspitz.
Ski: Even if the property is not directly on a ski resort, so there are several ski areas close Sunday (stone), Raggal Faschina and Damuels. The buses between these ski MARUL and are generally free of charge.
