The city of Salzburg is one of the most beautiful places that you can find in Europe, which received international recognition through UNESCO in 1997 by being named a World Heritage Site. The Salzach separates Salzburg in two, whereby the impressive construction can be found on both sides. On the left side is the fortress of Hohensalzburg, the cathedral, the residence, Stift St. Peter with the impressive cemetery, Franziskaner church, University Church and the festival district with a large play house and house for Mozart and the Felsen riding school. On the right side of Salzach, you should not miss the Mirabell castle with the romantic Mirabell garden and the Sebastian church with its wonderful cemetery. Somewhat outside of the city is the castle of Hellbrunn with its water games and zoo.
Let Salzburg enchant you at all times, whether an art enjoyment for festivals, shopping, walking, cafe visit... its worth it!
