Newly renovated apartment situated in the garden of a villa, about 1,5km from the historic city of Vence, and 20 minutes from the beach, and the Nice International airport. Vence is up in the hills behind the coastline. The property is about 90m2, has one double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and one bedroom with two single beds.There is also a separate bathroom and a separate toilet. There is an open plan kitchen and dining room, which then in turn opens into a large living room. The apartment is fully furnished. Linen and bath towels are provided. A terrace surrounds the apartment, with a barbecue area, and a sunny area to for those who like to catch the first rays of morning sunshine.There is a large garden, which is shared with us, that is the owners of the villa. There are swings and the garden is child friendly and private. Plus plenty of parking space. From the apartment you can see the beautiful Baous des Blancs. We are also 5 miutes away from St Paul de Vence.

The apartment is situated close to the historic Medieval village of Vence. Vence is located in the hills behind Nice, with stunning views of these mountains and the sea. En route to Vence, one passes St Paul de Vence, famous for its artists, and art galleries,and the Colombe D'Or Restaurant, once frequented by the legendary actor Yves Montand. Vence has three large supermarkets,cinema, a variety of shops, bars and restaurants all keeping with the traditional french village atmosphere, and in the summer time is host to the very popular 'Les Nuits du Sud concerts'. Vence is also home to Matisse's Chapel.

    Cleaning charges of 75 euros will be added to the invoice.
    Electricity and water is included in this rate.

A bright, beautiful and sparkling clean apartment

We spent 6 wonderful days in this birght newly renovated apartment just outside of Vence. The apartment fits the description and was clean and private. The owner, Alison, is very nice and helpful. The apartment is large and although we were only two persons it could comfortably house four persons. We didn't even use the second bed room or bathroom. The area is wonderful with lots to discover and see expecially the small museums. We would highly recommend this place to friends and family and would return.

A pleasant week

We enjoyed our week in the apartment and were left to do as we pleased although Alison and Roger were usually on hand to give advice or directions if needed. The apartment was clean and the lounge comfortable with a large TV and a few English DVDs to watch. The kitchen/ diner has all the cooking equipment you could need. The apartment was rather hot because it was not air conditioned but plenty of fans were provided to keep the air moving. We had an en-suite shower which used to get quite wet and I think it would have been more comfortable if it had been fitted with an extractor fan. The second bedroom did not have a window or any extraction which made it smell slightly fusty (although our son never complained). Outside was a small area where we had a barbeque in the evening and would eat breakfast looking at the garden in the mornings.

Spacious beautiful apartment

We have just returned from a week at this property. It was wonderful! It is very clean and spacious inside (our party consisted of 4 adults and one baby), the main bedroom is huge and has a wonderful en suite bathroom (and the twin room was a good size also), the breakfast kitchen and lounge were also both very spacious and well equipped. The garden and patio areas were ideal for us - even a swing for our little one. I would recommend a car in the summer months (as we had) as the walk to Vence in the 40 degree heat can be a bit much! The owner, Alison was lovely and very helpful, would recommend this property to anyone.

Home away from home.

We spent a month in this delightful villa. It is modern, spacious, well furnished and clean. There is safe car parking and plenty of outdoor living space. It is well placed being just a short walk to Vence. Our host was very friendly and obliging. She happily made restaurant recommendations and bookings for us. The villa is a short drive from the coast and surrounded by small mountainside villages and lots of markets. We would thoroughly recommend this villa to anybody.

A wonderful destination!

Recently stayed in this house for 2 weeks! Alison, the owner, was extremely kind and accommodating! The house in spacious, clean and accessible. The surrounding area is beautiful and Nice is an easy bus ride away. Definitely recommend it to someone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway!
