Quite near Los Llanos, on the west side of the island is our home: Sol, in a large plot of approx 3000 sqm. The view to the sea is to have from almost everywhere. Even from inside the house, so the images appear as the window. The City of Los Llanos is within easy walking distance (about 20 minutes). Nevertheless, the location and surrounding area is quiet and rural. A supermarket and a bus stop is within easy walking distance. The beach of Puerto Naos in 15 minutes by car, and the Tazacorte in 10 In the garden there in season fruit for harvest itself. (Avocados, oranges, papaya, Crapfrut, bananas ... and many Kreuter for self-sufficiency in the kitchen. EXCELLENT HOLIDAY HOUSE

We stayed in this house for 8 nights, after 5 nights near Barlovento. Everything matched the description given by the owner. The location of this house is perfect to discover the central and southern part of La Palma, and still very quiet.
On the large terrace, we had 1 spot for aperitif, and another for breakfast.

There is a shop nearby, and a cheap and excellent grocery shop on arrival on the main road from the house.

We hiked a lot, and you can find bus or taxi easily to return to the place where you left your car. Nice hikes are the Caldeira Taburiente, and the Volcano route.

It is easy to go for dinner in Los Llanos, or on the main road to El Paso, but also Puerto de Tazacorte has some very nice restaurants.you also find a nice beach there.

I would recommend this house to anyone who likes to stay in a quiet environment, with good comfort, nice views. And on this side if the island the weather is much better than on the east coast.

WUNDERVOLLER INDIVIDUALURLAUB

Wir haben unseren zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt im Casa Sol sehr genossen! Das Haus liegt im Westen und damit auf der sonnigeren Seite von La Palma, was einen noch mehr in Urlaubsstimmung bringt. Die Lage ist optimal zentral, so dass sowohl Einkaufsmöglichkeiten als auch Sehenswürdigkeiten und Ausflüge schnell erreichbar sind. Das Haus selbst ist freistehend und garantiert eine ruhige Umgebung, perfekt für den Individualurlaub. Von der Ausstattung haben wir nichts vermisst und Küchenutensilien sind im sauberen Zustand. Ein echtes geschmackliches Highlight sind auch die Avocados, die direkt im großen Garten an mehreren Bäumen wachsen, unbedingt probieren! Der super freundliche Hausbesitzer Martin wohnt zwar auf der anderen Seite der Insel, ist jedoch jederzeit erreichbar und um das Wohl seiner Gäste seht besorgt.
Insgesamt top empfehlenswert, beim nächsten La Palma Urlaub würden wir diese Unterkunft wieder wählen!

WUNDERSCHÖNER URLAUB

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Casa Sol sehr genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus liegt wunderschön am Hang in einem herrlichen Garten mit schöner Terrasse (gut ausgestattet mit Tischen u Stühlen und Liegestühlen) mit herrlichem Blick auf das Meer. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend und ist von Nachbarn uneingesehen, mit eigenem Parkplatz fürs Auto.Die Ausrichtung des Hauses erlaubt es den ganzen Tag Sonne zu genießen und die Aussicht der Fenster war rundherum wunderschön, ins Grüne des Gartens, aufs Meer und von der gut ausgestatteten gemütlichen kleinen Küche mit Sitzecke aus auf die Berge, sodass wir den Aufenthalt in Haus und Garten sehr genossen haben. Die Größe kam uns aufgrund der guten Zimmeraufteilung für uns 4 (2 Erwachsene mit zwei kleinen Kindern) gerade richtig vor. Die Ausstattung war gemütlich, kanarisch und die Betten gut; große Kästen, viele Handtücher; und für uns toll der Internetzugang! Die Lage ist perfekt für Ausflüge auf die ganze schöne Insel, Los LLanos ganz in der Nähe, ein Supermarkt zu Fuß erreichbar und die Strände von Tazacorte, Puerto Naos, etc. auch schnell erreicht, sowie guter Ausganspunkt nach Norden und Süden.
Besonders war für uns die tolle Betreuung von Martin, bis hin zur Organisation unseres Christbaumes, vielen, vielen Dank dafür! Dass Ihr Herz an Ihren Häusern hängt, und wie wichtig es Ihnen ist Ihren Gästen eine schöne Zeit zu ermöglichen, erkennt man einfach an der guten Betreuung und dem sehr guten, liebevollen und sauberen Zustand von Haus und Garten. Wir konnten hier unseren Urlaub wirklich einfach nur genießen und freuen uns schon aufs Wiederkommen!

IMMER WIEDER GERNE!

Ein sehr schönes kleines Häuschen. Super Terrasse mit Blick direkt aufs Meer. Die Früchte im eigenen natürlichen Garten haben wir täglich frisch genossen. Wir haben uns im typischen kanarischen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Jederzeit würden wir wieder dort hinkommen. Martin, der Eigentümer ist auch sehr bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Er ist immer ein Ansprechpartner.

PERFEKTER URLAUB

Wir haben uns in dem nett eingerichteten Haus und auf der wunderschönen Terrasse mit Blick auf den Atlantik, umgeben von einem herrlichen gepflegten Garten 13 Tage sehr gut erholt. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Sauberkeit bei der Ankunft und die Vorräte an Handtüchern und Bettwäsche sind besonders hervorzuheben. Das Haus liegt mit 350 m in angenehmer Höhe und eignet sich sehr gut als Ausgangspunkt für Touren über die ganze Insel. Abends haben wir oft die ruhige Lage bei farbenprächtigen Sonnenuntergängen genossen. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

GUT ERHOLT IM CASA SOL

Wir haben uns im Casa Sol in 12 Tagen sehr gut erholt. Das Haus liegt ruhig, idyllisch und mit toller Aussicht auf den Atlantik und das Gebirge in einem wunderschönen Obstgarten. Die Terrasse ist großzügig und zum Teil schattig, die Nachbarschaft ist angenehm und unproblematisch (außer gelegentlichem Hundgebell). Ein idealer Punkt für Ausflüge. Der schöne Strand von Puerto de Tazacorte ist in 15 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Der Vermieter hat uns freundlich empfangen, ist sehr hilfsbereit und kümmert sich um alles. Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Haus - es war für uns ein rund um schöner Urlaub.

Owner's Response: Lieber Feriengast, vielen Dank für ihre positive Bewertung. Ebenfalls Dank für den Hinweis mit dem " gelegentlichem Hundegebell " so konnten wir uns sofort daran machen in Rücksprache mit diesem Nachbarn das das in Zukunft nichtmehr auftritt, wie man uns versprochen hat.
Ansonsten freut es uns natürlich immer wenn unsere Leistung gelobt wird, manchmal braucht man / frau diesen Ansporn, weil sehr wenig Arbeit ist es nicht. Die hiesige Bauweise, bei hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit, starken Temperatur Schwankungen, einer enorm intensiven Sonnenbestrahlung ect. erfordert einen hohen Grad an Instandhaltungs Aufwand.
Wir würden uns sehr freuen wenn Sie sich wieder für unser Haus entscheiden könnten. Fast 50 % unserer Gäste sind " Wiederholungstäter ".

Quite near Los Llanos, on the west side of the island is our detached house with a large priv garden. The City of Los Llanos is easy on foot to reach (approx. 20 min.) It looks out to the sea and the mountains. Gorgeous sun sunsets. The area is rural and quiet. Old almond trees, flowers and lawns, and many native ornamental and useful plants dominate the purely private land of about 3000 sqm.

 The natives of La Palma were the Guanschen, they must have descended from the Berbers in the High Atlas, we have Guanschen names and place names are very similar to those in the Atlas and the pre-Sahara region. In any case, they were exterminated by the Spaniards and only today we are interested for them again. The recent history of La Palma begins instead to the island-conquest and subsequent colonization. Multiple, the island was threatened by pirate attacks, which still bear witness to fixing plants in St. Cruz. Mostly was the economic life of the island. Banana production since the 50's of the last century has made many small farmers to wealthy people. (Water is so abundant) until the EU accession of Spain has spoiled the thriving business. La Palma is its own little world of its own, with its own laws. (Unwritten) The City of Los Llanos (the plains) is quite different from St. Cruz, she has grown over the bananas and today still very manageable and cozy with its beautiful plaza with ancient Indian laurel trees on the central point and the turning circle of the city takes place. Los LL. acts as a rich city. The beaches of Puerto Naos and Tazacorte are made of black sand (equal to the lava) it is bathed throughout the year. A fishing port there as well. Plus the ferry and cargo ship Port of St. Cruz.
