Our cottage at the Fritz Bleyl, Route 16 is situated on the edge of a quiet residential area with traffic. The house offers a magnificent view over meadows and fields at the Burger lake and the marina. On foot you can reach the port Burgstaaken in about 15 minutes past the typical lakeside restaurants and the popular Café office. At the fishing port you will find many attractions for young and small, such as the walk-U-boat with his U-Boat Museum, and the experimenters, two indoor play parks to name but a few. A few minutes by bike or car away is the most beautiful beach on the island, the south beach. Here can be found next to the water park FehMare (generous sauna landscape, wave and fun range) and fine white sandy beach with beach chairs, a spacious thatched beach promenade with coffee houses and restaurants. From your cottage is just a 15-minute walk along the beautiful avenue of old cobbled streets, the town of Burg. Here you can dine and shop to your heart's content extensively. Hansa Park Sierksdorf is about 30-40 minutes worth of Fehmarn and in any event for families to visit.
