Guestbook comments from the owner
Peter could not have been more helpful or accommodating. The house and vast grounds are breath-taking and although we didn't organise any activities through The Big House Co, we had no problems keeping ourselves entertained. We cranked up the barbecue on the Friday night and on the Saturday, after a quick dip in the pool, we enjoyed a boisterous game of football on a patch of grass in the orchard that Peter had mown specially for us. After a meal at a local pub on the Saturday night, we returned to Widcombe Grange. I doubt I could have picked a better venue if I'd scoured the length and breadth of the entire country. Plans are already afoot for a return visit.
