The castle Francesco lies in a vast wooded area about 500 meters above sea level in the province of Pomarance, near the small medieval village Micciano. The beautiful city of Volterra is not far to reach in a short time. A large easily navigable path leading to the castle. The forests are crisscrossed with numerous hiking and trekking paths.
