Photos and Description of the La Horadada vacation rental Small -popular Spanish coastal village

Relax in a what is a mainly Spanish seaside town Mil Palmeras (thousand palms.) With excellent Blue Flag beaches and inexpensive Spanish/British/German and Chinese restaurants. A daily menu (menu del dia) in the Chinese restaurant costs less than £4.50 including half a bottle of wine. The apartment is well appointed with fridge, washing machine, microwave. It also has a digital British television system including ITV & BBC programs. Two bedrooms, one double, one large twin room. A swimming pool is located just outside the rear of the apartment and can be viewed from the glassed in conservatory. The Spanish like their siestas and the pool closes in the afternoon between three and five thirty. In addition to the many restaurants there is a medium size supermarket a few minutes walk from the apartment. The larger town of Torrevieja is about 12 miles north of Mil Palmeras and can be easily reached by taxi or public transport.

The nearest restaurant to the apartment is the Olympia, just about four min walk away. The main restaurant area, known locally as the strip, and is a pedestrian zone and is about 7/8 mins walk. There is also a very good hairdressers /beauty parlour, chemist and two banks. During the summer months there is a large street-market close to the apartment and a smaller trinket market near the restaurants. Mil Palmeras prides itself on having a beautiful sandy beach that is cleaned daily throughout the summer. In fact the whole area has many fine beaches most of which are within a ten minute drive. Torrevieja is about twelve miles away and boasts of lots of fine shops and modern shopping centres. It also has a large water park and a more traditional park (The Park of Nations) that was created in 2000 to acknowledge the many different nationalities that now reside in this part of the Costa Blanca.

Really nice ground floor apartment, everything you would need. Convenient to beach, central to the Southern Costa Blanca. Landlords- very nice people. Very Very Pleased.
