Photos and Description of the Dalaman - Dalyan area vacation villa rental Surrounded by lemon groves, 10 mins from Dalyan & 20 mins from Turtle Beach.

This is a charming 3 bedroom villa in rural surroundings. The villa has a great deal of character with an ensuite bedroom upstairs accessed by an outside staircase with its own private sunbathing terrace. Downstairs there are two more bedrooms and another bathroom and a living room which runs out to the pool and the large terrace through the French windows. The villa has been recently refurbished. We've included every kind of convenience for a relaxed stay - a very private pool surrounded by lemon orchards, daily maid, air conditioning in every room, beach towels, well equiped kitchen, T.V. DVD, washing machine, barbeque and open fire. We welcome pets - actually you might find chickens 'free ranging' in the orchard uninvited! If they lay eggs there you can eat them! We've also got a resident owl and storks come to visit frequently (beware honeymooners!)

The property is outside Dalyan in a little village called Kemaliye - right by the Stork sanctuary restaurant. It is 20 minutes to Iztuzu Beach - home of the famous Loggerhead Turtles. A wonderfully remote and secluded place and yet only a 5 minute drive to the shops and restaurants. The short transfer from Dalaman airport takes less than 30 minutes so you can be drinking Gin and Tonic by the pool while the rest of the crowds are still on the road to Marmaris or Fethiye. If you want tranquility and village life then this is the most wonderful spot and the most quaint house.

Notes: Extra information about the Swimming Pool. The pool is about 7 metres x 4 metres and has no shallow end. It has a set of steps down into the pool which is lovely to sit on with your drink or if the kids want to play. There is no fence round the pool and the French windows in the living room lead straight on to the terrace and to the pool.

Just got back from spending our honeymoon in your lovely villa. What a total escape, we enjoyed every minute. We had a mixture of weather and so managed to enjoy the hot sun on the private roof terrace in the day, and the open fire in the evening! The peace and quiet and secluded plot was just what we wanted. We tried the local Ley Ley Restaurant a couple of times, very nice food and excellent service, we are addicted to chilli salad now, miss it already! All was fab, the help and advice given before the booking, arranging the taxi and car hire for us, meeting us at the villa and the daily maid was a treat.
We hope to return again for our anniversary!

Absolutely wonderful holiday villa, with everything we needed for a really relaxing break. The booking service was prompt and having a car to meet us at the airport and our shopping in the fridge made the arrival smooth.The restaurants in Dalyan ,on the river, were excellent, but on the nights we cooked the shops in Dalyan provided everything we needed.We ran out of tomatoes and the neighbour was only too happy to provide us with lovely vegetables.There is no oven or grill, so you need to barbecue or fry your meat...no problem.Enjoyed Turtle beach, the river trip ,Olu Deniz, the market in Dalyan,Gocek marina and Ley Ley restaurant.Overall a fantastic holiday

The smell of orange blossom !!

If you prefer the real Turkey amongst Lemon and Orange groves then you must try this place.We stayed in mid April 09 ,the weather was great(not too hot thankfully),the owners acted professionally in every way with a very good housekeeper that kept the pool spotless(yes we swam in April....cool but fun !!)
The sun terrace is great for sunbathing "en naturelle",the local town of Dalyan is just 5 mins away with the friendliest people you'll ever find on earth...literally(we found that about the Turks generally....VERY friendly but not false if you understand.
You must visit Kaunos near Dalyan if you like siteseeing...lovely ampitheatre!!
Would we stay again....yes we may go again this year or perhaps next...we think April/May and Sept/Oct are better for weather(not too hot)...enjoy Lemon House..we did !! Bill and Diana

This was our third year in a row hiring a villa in/near Dalyan, and The Lemon House did not disappoint. Location is wonderful and everything was provided. Attention to detail was excellent. The unexpected bonus was having a housemaid come every day and clean and tidy for us. We also sampled one of her meals!"

The most relaxing holiday I have ever had.

We (5 of us - two teenagers, one tweenager and my husband and myself) arrived at this villa at night. On waking I could never of imagined what a beautiful place this villa is. It is in a huge garden of lemon and lime trees plus the odd fig and pomagranate tree. It is completely on its own, down a little road so completely private and quiet. The views are magnificent 360 degrees from all the balconies. It is spotless, and the housekeeper a complete delight and definitely worth trying her cooking - true Turkish food delivered to your home!! We have had numerous family holidays overseas but this really was the most relaxing. The surrounding area has everything, great beaches, nice towns, fabulous markets but most of all wonderful people. Our teenagers loved it here, which is always a good sign! We loved it so much we are returning in 2009 - to our very own little oasis. You will need a car to enjoy all the benefits of this beautiful area - the airport is only 20 minutes away which is a huge bonus aswell.
