Perfect if you value privacy yet wish to be conveniently within a few minutes from restaurants, bars, beach and minimarkets. The villa is surrounded by mature olive trees in several acres of land, gated and fenced to ensure you are not overlooked. All bedrooms have balconies, with spectacular and uninterrupted open views of the surrounding valley and mountains. The pool is also gated to help you control access to the water, assisting the safety of toddlers and young children. Wheelchair friendly with a bathroom/bedroom on ground floor - 3 steps maximum from patio to pool. Just 3 minutes away by car is Almirida Bay for safe, sandy beaches, watersports, windsurfing, seafront shops and good restaurants. The traditional village of Gavalochori is a pleasant 10 minute walk, where you will find tavernas, bars, a coffee-house and two mini-markets.

Villa Angelos - wonderful stay!!

Thank you for a wonderful stay in Villa Angelos in Crete! The villa was beautiful, in a great location and very well-appointed. All the information provided before and during our visit was extremely useful. The driving advice and directions from Chania were very helpful and also the tips for restaurants were very good. We had two kids with us (Rasmus, 9 and Simon, 7 years) and their comment: This was the best summer house we ever had! We all enjoyed our "own" pool and had much fun during the week.

Just wanted to say a big thank you for a wonderful holiday in Villa Asteria.

The Villa was ideal, in a quiet location with a fantastic view of the White mountains.

Although the property can sleep up to eight people it did not feel too big for just the two of us.

We loved spending lazy days lying by the pool which had a large sun deck which was in the sun from 8am to 7pm.

We did manage to drag ourselves away to do a bit of exploring and found Crete to be a beautiful Island.

The drive to Elafonisi Beach and Millia recommended by our local Autoclub reps were wonderfully scenic and ended in wonderful lunches.

We also enjoyed the Tavernas of Gavalochori which we visited regularly for food and a Mythos or two.
