TERMS OF AGREEMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

DAMAGE DEPOSIT: One night's rent damage deposit is required. Damage deposit is fully refundable within 30 days after rental, if there is no damage to property or missing items.

RESERVATION DEPOSIT: Two nights rent is due within 7 days of reservation, which will be deducted from the full rental price. The condo will be held out of the rental pool for 7 days from your reservation date. If your deposit is not received within 7 days, the condo will be considered available for booking. The balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival.

CANCELLATION POLICY: High Season & Thanksgiving: Refunds only if property can be re-rented for the same period. If re-renting is successful, there will be a 10% re-booking fee. Otherwise, no refund will be available.

Low Season: In all cases, if condo is re-rented, only a 10% re-booking fee will apply. Otherwise, terms are 30+ days notice, full refund less 10% re-booking fee. 16-30 days notice, 50% of rental is forfeited, if not re-rented. Less than 16 days notice, no refund, if not re-rented.

CHANGING DATES: You many change dates, based on availability, with a $100 change fee.

Great Condo! Great Location!

This was a fantastic place to stay for our 10 year anniversary. We don't like being around a lot of other tourist, so being on the back side of the island away from the hustle and bustle of cruise ships was a big plus. The condo is in great shape and we found lots of water based equipment that we could use in the condo. There is a great view of St. John from the beach and plenty of area to walk around. It is a short 1 mile to the ferry to go to St. John or Tortola, which we did both. I would recommended this to anyone going to St. Thomas.

Renovated Condo ~ Sapphire Bay West

Hi Karen,

First of all we want to thank you for renting your condo to us! Wow!! From the moment we stepped off the plane to be greeted by our taxi driver Gary, wonderful man, who shared with us some of his island's knowledge - to stepping into our immaculate, comfortably decorated and well-appointed condo (Norma had a vase of beautiful island flowers to greet us) we felt a sense of homeliness. We threw our bags down and the one and only time we made haste was to don beach apparel!

Sapphire Bay with its white-sand beach, beautiful differentiating blues of the ocean, sky and vista's of other islands, watching translucent yellow-tinged sand crabs with alien-like antennae eyes slowly edge out then quickly fling the sand out of their tunnel homes and scurry sideways back in, the ducks with a splash of orange on each side of their bills meandering on the beach (a couple took a nap under my lounger) ~ a slice of Heaven on Earth! The owner of Molly Malone's was surprised when I told him about "our" ducks. Did you know that they are a rare sight? And yes Mr. Iguana showed up to greet us! Best beach umbrella in the world and all natural?? ~ The Sea-Grape Tree! My husband laid stake to one! He would bask in the sun, float and dive under the waves, but ultimately end up under the Sea Tree. Totally relaxed and not knowing or caring which day it was (that speaks volumes)!

When we tore ourselves away it was by open-air taxi to friendly Red-Hook with their "just the right amount of shops and restaurants" for my taste, or walking up the hill in "our" back-yard to Off the Grid. I told them the smells of barbecue and music lead us to them. They didn't let us down ~ nor the view!!

I also want to thank you, Karen, for the wealth of information you sent us beforehand, it was invaluable!

Last, but not least was the sense of community I felt at Crystal Cove. Norma, Diane and Amber ~ all jewels of the Caribbean. The beautiful grounds surrounding Crystal Cove, I know, did not magically appear. It's through the dedication, hard work, and attention to detail that all the hired groundskeepers pour into Crystal Cove that make it the special place it is!

Both Joe and I had the "BEST' get-away ever!

great beach for sun, shade and snokeling

Our first time in the virgin islands, easy non-stop flight from NY to St Thomas. We rented a car that allowed going to St John, which I think only Budget allows, but you can rent a jeep on St John for the day. On St Thomas we mostly stayed on the condo property or went to red hook or other east end locations for food and beaches. Sapphire beach is probably the nicest on this Island. Especially when you combine the usually calm water, great view, clean soft sand, shade from the sea grape trees, access to food and drinks, great snorkeling, and the convenience of your condo a minute away.
The condo was really nice, they were just finishing preparing it for us when we arrived in the early afternoon, it was cleaned twice while we there (8 nights) the staff all around was very helpful and pleasant.
We went to St John 3 times once to hike in the National Park and ended up on Honeymoon Beach which is beautiful and has a classic funky Beach Hut for snacks and restrooms tucked into the "tropical jungle" off the beach. The second time on St John we took a taxi tour of the Island which was very interesting and fun then ate and shopped in Cruz Bay. The third day we took our car and toured all over the island. That was really an adventure, we live on the east end of Long Island The highest point is about 100 feet, every road is flat and straight. On St John, you can't drive 500 feet before you're either going up a hill (or mountain) or going down or making a turn. At least there's not much traffic on St John, but it is really a beautiful place and the beaches are great, snonkeling is excellent and we saw a few Sea Turtles at Maho Beach. There are also free range Donkeys and Goats around especially on the east end of the island.
Overall we had wonderful vacation with incredible weather, it was in the low 80's and mostly sunny every day and cool at night. We would definetly stay at this location and unit again, Karen was very nice and helpful through the whole rental process.

We love This place!

My husband and I just spent a week at Crystal Cove and are ready to return. Our condo was fantastic with all the amenities you could ask for. The beach is a short one minute walk away and was one of the best ones we went to, right in our front yard! Seriously, we visited several beaches and this is the cleanest and friendliest one around. Everyone is very helpful, especially Norma who is delightful. It's a great mix of seniors, middle aged couples and families with kids. The condo itself is clean, bright and the two bathrooms were a real treat. Although we didn't cook much, the kitchen is fully equipped and everything is there if you want to. Thanks for making our stay enjoyable and worry-free. We are already talking about coming back!

Recommendation from veteran STT visitors - first time stay here

My husband and I just returned from ten-day stay. We are veteran visitors to the island, but this is the first time we have stayed at Crystal Cove since the early 1980s. We have stayed in hotels, villas, and other condos on St. Thomas and St. John, and this is now our favorite. This unit has all of the comforts of home and then some (like the incredible view). The photos that accompany the VRBO listing are a good representation of the unit. We didn't realize until we arrived that the main photo of the listing is the view from the porch in this unit (it is!). This updated condo has a new kitchen (complete with a dishwasher and all of the cooking tools you would ever need) and it has very nice modern, comfortable furniture. The living area includes a murphy bed. There are two bathrooms--one off the enormous master bedroom and one off the main corridor. Water pressure was surprisingly excellent. There is more than enough room to store your belongings and lots of closet space. It was so nice to have a washer/dryer at our disposal right in the unit. This upper level unit is one of the few units with a screened in porch for dining – we had our lunch out there every day, and were back on the porch for our daily cocktail hour(s). The porch was also a convenient place to keep our sandy beach gear and towels. The view from the unit and from the porch across the property to Sapphire Beach is unbelievable and is probably one of the best in the complex. There is a very nice breeze on the porch. There is a Weber grill (charcoal) with the unit. Sapphire Beach is gorgeous, with views across the bay to St. John and the BVIs. Beach chairs are provided for guests staying at Crystal Cove. St. Thomas' main roads are too dangerous to walk, but we were able to craft a one-hour hike from the condo, which we did every morning. It was quite a workout since it involved some steep hill-climbing. I'll close by noting that the entire rental process was easy and Karen was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this condo.
