Les Cypres is a very pretty villa built on a sunny hillside in the village of Aubussargues. Bordered by woods, it is very private & has a real sense of space and light. Reception room with fireplace & French windows onto the south-facing terrace; Dining table seating 8; Well equipped kitchen with gas hob & electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher & washing machine; 3 bedrooms; Double with en-suite shower room & opening onto terrace; Double opening onto terrace; Twin with en-suite shower room; Family bathroom; Independent studio apartment sleeps 2. The studio has twin beds, a kitchenette with fridge and an en-suite shower room. Please note that the studio is never rented separately; South-facing terrace with dining area under wysteria pergola. Views over the pool, garden & woodland; Swimming pool (9x4m) on lower terrace; Built-in brick barbecue; Large Mediterranean garden with cypress, olives & lavender; Parking. Full central heating.

Les Cypres is situated in a charming village close to the unspoilt medieval town of Uzes. Uzes has many small family run shops, restaurants, cafes & bars. The twice weekly market is one of the finest in the south of France and not to be missed. The surrounding area is full of fascinating history including the spectacular Pont du Gard & the source of the water that ran over it in the valley below Uzes. The historic cities of Avignon & Nimes are within a 30 minute drive & long sandy beaches at 1 hour. The Camargue national park with horses, bulls and flamingos as well as other birds is only 1 hour away and makes a perfect day out for all the family. River bathing & kayaking on the Gardon is highly recommended.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The rental amounts quoted are for the villa sleeping 6 only. The independent 2 person studio can be rented for an additional 300 euros per week. Please note that the studio is never let separately.
    To secure a booking, we require a non-refundable deposit of 20%. A security deposit against damage of £200 or 500 euros is required along with final balance 6 weeks before start of rental.
    During the winter months, heating is available at an additional 50 euros per week.
  • DIscounts are available for bookings of 2 weeks or more in May & June. Please ask at the time of booking.
