Photos and Description of the Nievre vacation rental 2 Double bedrooms & sofa bed, sleeps 5, private 10 x 5m swimming pool

Our newly created gîte just minutes away from Lac de Panneciere has two double bedrooms, one with king-size bed and one with twin beds. There is also a sofa bed available for a child, plus we have facilities for babies. One bathroom and WC, heated towel rail. One wet room (walk-in shower) and WC, heated towel rail. A utility room with washing machine and drier iron, and board. The living accommodation consists of a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, comfortable sitting area with Television, DVD, VHS and wireless internet. The French windows lead out to the garden with two acres of meadow and a 10m x 5m swimming pool with Roman steps. The apartment has central heating throughout. Kitchen: Oven/hob, Microwave, Fridge/freezer, dishwasher, good range of cooking utensils and equipment. Linen included. Cleaning materials included. Welcome pack provided. Available March to October inclusive.

Would you like to stay among hills, valleys, lakes and woodlands in the beautiful natural Morvan Park in Burgundy France, yet only be a short drive away from bustling towns and lively cities? Stay in our beautiful gîte and have nature, culture and traditional wine makers on your doorstep. Burgundy is famous for its wonderful wines, you can go to one of the regions many vineyards ,have a guided tour and then take part in the wine tasting. If it’s history that you are after, then visit the old Roman town of Autun, where you can still see part of the ancient roman walls standing. Visiting Dijon is a must, stroll through its pedestrianised streets and soak up the atmosphere of this beautiful historic town. Visit the Traditional French Markets held weekly in most towns and villages in the area.

'We cannot express our delight too highly. This gite surpassed all our expectations - offering large rooms, beautifully furnished, and also being equipped to an amazingly high standard. The peace and quiet of this tranquil hideaway were exactly what we hoped for and the fact that it is set amid such beautiful scenery was an added bonus indeed. George and Mary were marvelous hosts. We received an extremely warm welcome and felt able to seek their advice from time to time; which they gave of freely. We would not hesitate to recommend this holiday venue to others in search of a slice of authentic rural life - with a twist of luxury! Many thanks'

Fantastic Gite

George & Mary's gite is absolutely lovely! They have thought of everything you would wish for in a gite, even down to detail such as providing swimming pool towels and a barbeque. There is a great table tennis room, and they have provided a petanque set and a badminton set. The pool area is lovely and clean. George and Mary live above the gite, but leave you to get on with your holiday, but are there if you ever require any advice or local info. The gite is in a beautiful setting in total peace and quiet, just a few minutes from a lake. The nearest village is Chateau Chinon, 10 km away, where there are 2 supermarkets, a few bars and a great local brasserie d'agriculture in the centre. George and Mary very kindly left a welcome pack for us when we arrived which was a lovely touch.
Everything was perfect! Highly recommended.
