Directly on the banks of Berlin's River Spree, dreamy, tranquil location with fabulous river & parkland views with majestic trees, yet within 10 min. drive to the Alexander Platz. And from there to the centre of the city with Brandenburger Gate, the Reichstag and the famous boulevard 'Unter den Linden,' Charlottenburg Palace, the Museum Island etc. and yet only a 5 min drive from the remnants of the Berlin Wall. Treptow Park across the river is ideal for biking, jogging, walking, fly-fishing and of course boating on the river & nearby lakes. The famous Zenner Biergarten is easily accessible. Treptow Park Center has a comprehensive selection of shops, banking and a post office, along with many eating opportunities. Take-away food is plentiful in and around the Treptow Park S-train station and the shopping center. Although ours is a peaceful residential location you don't have to go far to experience everything Berlin has to offer.
Bus & Rail Tickets & Transport Information: Bus tickets, S-Trains (Urban Railway) & U-Trains (Underground):: It’s very easy to visit Berlin. The whole city is accessible by public transport, also by night, so a car is not a necessity. Tickets are valid for all public transport in Berlin. Train stations: Ticket dispensers have English language option. Buses: You pay driver direct.
The bus stops almost at the door. There are two services. Number 104 runs between Neu-Westend and Stralau. It's two stops up to Ostkreuz station, max 5min. journey.
Bus No. 347 runs between Stralau, via Warschauer Straße to Ostbahnhof, the next train station.
Other Useful Local Information: Bakery & Ice-Cream Parlour in our street is approx.300yards away. In the park by the marina is a smoke house preparing freshly smoked fish. Also a selection of food stands, restaurants and craft stores, popular in the summer time Close by the park (on Pushkinallee, which runs parallel with the park) is the famous Zenner Bier Garten and eating establishment which also houses a huge Burger King with great views over the Spree River. The Bridge over to the “hip-hang out” island is also located here. A little further up and to the left on Bulgarische Strasse (parking area) is a good Restaurant on a boat with a terrace, seafood is the speciality here, and is a lovely spot to watch the sunset.
Ostbahnhof's extensive shopping mall is open on Sunday's, when there is also a huge fleamarket at the rear of the station.
The description is very accurate, the apartment is new, clean and very well mantained. The kitchen is well furnished and the bathroom as well.
The garden and the landscape over River Spree is really fascinating even in winter.
The owner was very nice and provided all the information required. In the apartment you can find 2 file with maps, tips and all the information tou need.
The apartment is very well connected to central Berlin by train (10 minutes to Alexanderplatz). You have to walk 5 minutes to get to the station or, if you prefer, take the bus for 2 bus stop.
We really recommend it to everybody. Just remember, if you are 4, you'll find the double bed and the 2 single bed in the same room.
What a fabulous spot and a tastefully furnished and maintained and equipped apartment. A bus stop right across the street gives easy access to the heart of the city, but you might as well be miles away for all the noise and disturbances that you DON'T hear! Having rented several apartments in several cities over the past several years, I'd rate this place right at the top. Located on the ground floor, a guest here can walk out the back door onto a private patio and through a beautifully manicured garden area to the walking paths that give one access to the River Spree for miles in all directions. The Treptow Park area is a ten-minute walk, and a nearby mall located by the park provides all the necessities without intruding on one's sense of privacy. Comfort level, because of the outfitting of the apartment itself and the friendliness of the surrounding community, was extremely high. You can't do any better for the price.

Sehr ruhig, nah vom Zentrum, sehr schöne Aussicht, super sauber, eine Erholung pur vom Tag.
Die Angaben waren richtig. Die Fewo ist in einen top Zustand. Eine gute Betreuung vor Ort und vom Vermieter. Ganz nah ist ein Bäcker und 10 Min weiter S-Bahn, Geschäfte, Restaurants, Kino.
EasyJet flies directly to Berlin's Schoenfeld airport, a half hour drive by car to your Holiday-Home. You may also take the S-train to Treptow Park and a short bus ride or taxi to the apartment. A bus stop, 25 yards from the front door, with buses every 15 min., connects you to Berlin's amazing public transport system. Or, take a 10 min. walk to the S-trains and the pulsating city life. There is a mail box just across the street for your postcards From Treptow's quaint harbour you may take a tourist sight-seeing boat or one with dinner and dancing on board. Boat rentals are nearby, as well as a sea plane if you want a flying view of Berlin. Nearby Friedrichshain is a poplular 'in-district' with a lively cosmopolitan atmosphere and a multitude of restaurants & bars offering a vast array of mouthwatering cuisine. Other famous destinations such as Potsdam & San Souci are reached by train also from Treptow S-train station. An unforgettable trip to Spreewald 100km south is a must.
