The Breithorn Residence is located on the south side of Wengen in a quiet area with unobstructed view of the Lauterbrunnen valley and the Schilthorn range. It is only a 5 minute walk away from the train station or one can take a taxi which will drop you off right in front of the door. The apartment no. 3 has got 2 rooms and a surface of approx.. 40 m2. It is on the first floor of the house with At the back a garden, at the entrance a little terrace and a south-facing balcony at the front. From the south facing sunny balcony you can enjoy the above described view. The apartment is modern and tastefully furnished. There is a double bedroom, a living room with a pull-out sofa, TV and a radio. The apartment is ideal for 2 people. The bathroom is equipped with shower/sink/toilet/washing machine/dryer and also adds to the comfort. The fully equipped line kitchen with dishwasher and ceramic stove top is tastefully integrated into the living space and will make every cook happy.

The chalet was in an excellent location - a quiet road in a quiet little village. It was extremely well equipped with everything needed for two people, and the whole place was spotlessly clean. The view from the south facing balcony was breathtaking. Dorothee at the Wengen Chalet-Service company was very friendly, welcoming and extremely well organised.
If you want to travel by all the cable-cars/trains etc, buy a Jungfraujoch travel ticket at the start of your visit and you'll save a fortune. The ticket costs about £100, and lasts 6 days, but you'll easy spend that amount in two days going about the different places. The Baren restaurant in Wengen was excellent and relatively inexpensive.
We'll definitely be back and would be glad to stay in the same chalet again.
