Roomy cottage with cedar siding on the outside and inside. Large deck with picnic table and BBQ. Beautifully furnished with hardwood laminate flooring, pull out sofa bed, Cable TV, VCR & DVD in living-room; 2 bedrooms both with queen size beds; bathroom with tub & shower combination; kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave oven, dishes, cutlery etc.; all linens provided. The cottage is located about 1 hour north of Nanaimo in the small town of Bowser. Because of its very central location it's a perfect home base for exploring Vancouver Island. There are many beautiful golf courses within easy access. Buckley Bay Ferry is only 15 minutes north and brings you to Denman and Hornby Islands with several provincial parks and white sandy beaches. Mount Arrowsmith is only a one hour drive away and has excellent powder snow for downhill skiing and well groomed cross country trails lure the Winter visitor.

Mount Arrowsmith is only a one hour drive away and has excellent powder snow for downhill skiing and well groomed cross country trails lure the Winter visitor.

Notes

  • There is no monthly charge for June, July, August & September only weekly/daily charges, in some cercomstances a monthly charge could be calculated if room is available. These rental rates are for 4 persons. There is a charge of $10/night for each additional person 15 years and over; $5/night for children younger than 15 years; and pets welcome on approval. A deposit of $200 is required for a one week stay and a security deposit is required for longer stays (eg. a month or more). Stays shorter than a week are allowed during October thru May depending on the availability of the cottage. There is an extra charge for rental over the Christmas holidays, we will advise on request.
