We stayed in The Lemon House during June and had a wonderful week. It was an easy 20 minute drive from Split Airport (conveniently much closer to this house than Split itself) On arrival, we found the house was extremely welcoming, very well equipped, beautifully clean and with fresh linen. We relaxed immediately in the quiet situation particularly with the lovely patio terrace, landscaped gardens and outside barbecuing area. A short walk down the lane leads to a stunning little cove with clear waters, swimming platforms pebbled beaches and 2 quiet beach bars around the corner. Rogoznica is about a 10 minute walk via the beach which we enjoyed after sampling a variety of restaurants of the town- which were all great value. On a few nights, we cooked 'in' on the barbecue stove outside and had just as much fun relaxing on the patio. For bread and milk in the morning, there's a small supermarket literally around the corner.
Generally everything was perfect, especially as we wanted traditional Croatian surroundings and relaxing atmosphere......we are ready to book next year!
