Convenient apartment in Rome.

From Fumicino airport we took the Leonardo express train and we arrived at Termini Station in 60 min. We found the apartment with the directions the owner gave us, which is about 15min walk from Termini station, that is very much convenient.We meet the owner who is a very patient person,and she showed us to the apartment ,which is very safe, on the top floor but served with a lift. The area is full of super markets , shops and restaurants, with a bakery just under the apartment with lots of goodnesses for breakfast . The apartment was very clean and fresh and we liked it immediately.There were fresh towels and bed linen. The second bedroom is very good if you have kids , mine found it very specious to play in while we refreshed a little. The washing machine works really fine as it takes small loads and we used to wash every thing and dry them in the little terrace there is at the back. The location is definitely the most of this apartment, very near to the Colosseo and Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and with in walking distance to the Roman Forum,the Palatino, Piazza Venezia, San Giovanni Laterano. Near Termini there is the bus station and with bus no.41 you visit most other sites like Trevi , Spanish steps, the Vatican, Panteon all very close to each other. We took a tour with the double decker bus ,a very orientating tour. If travelling with kids a visit to Villa Borgese is a must mostly on a Sunday, there is a bio park with many animals too. The metro is very convenient too and has a stop close to the apartment. Rome is an experience not to miss, we'll surly go again( as we trough a coin in the Trevi Fountain!) and will stay in this same apartment !
