APARTMENT ADDRESS: VIA MERULANA. The 'HOLY STAIRS APARTMENT' is a very comfortable and lovely decorated flat located in the HISTORICAL CENTRE, 5 MINUTES FROM THE COLOSSEUM, IN THE HEART OF THE CITY, where you can visiting most historical sites of Rome either walking or using the public transport. On the first floor of a vintage building, the apartment includes a first bedroom with a king-size bed, a second bedroom with two single beds (or two single beds put together, on request), a very comfortable RELAXING AREA in the second bedroom, a dining room with kitchen corner, a bathroom. On request it is possible to add another folding bed in the second bedroom (SLEEPS 5). Modernly furnished and equipped with a television, refrigerator, microwave, washing machine, secure gas stove, dishes and linen. Due to the location in a vintage building, it comes without elevator (first floor).

Un appartement digne d'un roi !.... spacieux, joli, décoré avec soin et équipé avec attention, très propre. Un emplacement idéal pour découvrir par tous les transports en commun tous les recoins de la ville.
Un accueil chaleureux et une disponibilité appréciable de Carla et Rodolphe.
Bref, un séjour à renouveler rapidement.

The Best Colosseum Central Apt. “Holy Stairs” lives up to its name: it’s “the best” rental property we’ve had in some twenty years of traveling in Europe. The apartment’s in excellent condition, with a wonderful floor plan: large entry way, modern kitchen with breakfast area, excellent bathroom, a large spacious bedroom, and a parlor and dining room (which was converted into a 2nd bedroom, with a wonderful sitting area, perfect for the four of us traveling together, allowing our 81 year old travel companion to return “home” to rest or read, while the rest of us did our thing). And . . . Location! Location! Location! Within walking distance to almost everything we love about Rome: sidewalk cafes and pastry shops favored by the locals, museums, supermercati (Italian grocery stores), live theater (we saw “Ma Ma Mia” while there), opera, churches and Il Colosseo e il Foro Romano—it’s one of our favorite neighborhoods. Also, Rodolfo, you and your manager (and her mother) bent over backward to accommodate us one day early, because of all the strikes that were going on in Greece. We can't thank you enough. Finally, and most gracious of all, there was that wonderful bottle of excellent Chianti wine waiting for us as your “welcome” gift. Thank you so much. We will be back!

Great Location, exceptionally clean.

We stayed at the 'Holy Stairs" apartment for 3 nights and found it was everything that was stated in the description and photos. This apartment was exceptionally clean and well equipped. The location was great, grocery store very close, resturants, cafes', bakery all with a few blocks walking distance. We plan on coming back to Rome (since 3 days isn't even enough time to scrach the surface of all there is to see and do in Rome. We will definetly stay again at this apartment. I have already recommended 'Holy Stairs' to friends that are also planning on traveling to Rome. Thank you for helping us to have made such great memories on our first trip to Roma.
