The villa is conveniently situated 20 minutes from Paphos International Airport. It is equidistant from Paphos Harbour and Coral Bay, situated in a quiet residential area. The main bedroom has en-suite facilities and a cot. There is a family bathroom and a downstairs cloakroom. Hair-dryers, bed linen and towels are provided in all rooms. The ground floor is open plan with a fully fitted kitchen that includes a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. In the living area there is a dining table seating 8 people + high chair and a lounge suite. TV with satellite viewing, DVD, Hi-Fi and FREE Internet. The villa is fully air-conditioned for the comfort of our guests, during the summer months, converting to a heating system during the cooler months, complimented by an open log fire. The garden consists of a private pool that is bathed in sunshine all day and is surrounded by a terrace with sun beds and a BBQ. After dark the garden and pool are fully light for a romantic evening.

The villa is built in a small quiet close in a residential area in the village of Emba. The local supermarket stocks a full range of products, from local produce to Heinz Beans! There is a local take-away selling traditional Cypriot food and a traditional Taverna within a few minutes walk. The surrounding villages of Lempa, Chlorakas and Kisonerga all have local restaurants. Coral Bay is a few minutes drive away. The atmospheric high street is full of bars and restaurants which have characters of their own. A few minutes drive further on leads you to sandy beaches and water sport activities. Paphos main town and harbour are in the opposite direction, where facilities are abundant. There are two contrasting areas, The Harbour - with its many restaurants or Bar Street - for club land and bars.

We had a fantastic holiday at Villa Kalandia. The villa was clean, comfortable and very well equiped, everything that you would need was there, the aircon was a must and made those very hot days and nights all the more comfortable. The management team kept the place well maintained during our stay including regular upkeep of the swimming pool and garden. The quiet location meant that days spent round the pool were very relaxing and Paphos and Coral Bay were only a short drive away.
We sampled several of the restaurants in the surrounding area (the information supplied in the villa was a very useful guide) and the local supermarket was just a short drive down the road.
We would definately holiday here again.

The villa is situated a short drive from Paphos in a really quiet village. Although the village is quiet, it is really well situated for sightseeing around the rest of the island, night time tavernas, Coral Bay and Paphos. There are some nice bars and restaurants within a short walking distance of the villa. The villa will suit everyone from the young to the elderly; families with children; those looking for quiet romance; and those just wanting a base to tour the island. It is really well appointed, with plenty of bedrooms, a large living room/dining room and kitchen and a lovely pool. With plenty of hot summer days, the private pool is ideal, and with really warm nights - a night time indulgence! The villa is well maintained, with a good selection of appliances; air conditioning and cupboards and wardrobes to stash all those holiday clothes. Two balconies and plenty of outside furniture means that there is easy living outside as well as inside. Apart from holiday clothes, everything is provided for one of the most relaxing holidays ever!

...and a great time was had by all

We have visited Cyprus many times but, as my husband, is in the travel trade we usually stay at the Columbia resort in Pissouri. This year, because my son and his girlfriend wanted to come with us, we decided that a Villa might be a better option. It took a long time, trawling through the many sites to find one that seemed to suit our requirements and obviously it always a little daunting not knowing what to expect. Villa Kalandia was perfect. It was spacious, extremely well equipped and immaculately kept. Once we had our bearings, the supermarket and local bakery was easily found and the drive to the centre of Paphos about 17 minutes. This meant that when the youngsters wanted to party to all hours in Paphos the taxi fare was only about 15 euros so we didn't have to collect them! We had reason to call on the management team when all the lights went out one night, but they were there at the other end of the phone, talking us through a temporary solution and turned up the next morning to ensure that all was well. The private pool area was a luxurious addition and certainly was the icing on a very lovely cake. We would definitely re-book. Grace, Gilbert, Jamie and Debs - Biggin Hill, Kent
