20 minutes from Paphos International Airport, situated in a quiet residential area equidistant from Paphos Harbour and Coral Bay, you will find Villa Kalandia.

Villa Kalandia is a beautiful villa that accommodates 6 to 9 people.

It has 2 spacious double bedrooms, 1 twin room, a double futon bed in the lounge area and a single futon bed for use in the double or twin rooms. A cot is also provided. Each room has access to a balcony.

The master bedroom has en-suite facilities. There is a family bathroom and a downstairs cloakroom.

The ground floor is open plan with a fully fitted kitchen that includes a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine.

The living area has a dining table, seating 8 people and a high-chair for our younger guests. There is a lounge suite, TV with satellite viewing, DVD and CD/Cassette/Radio as well as a games console (Xbox Classic)

the villa is fully air conditioned for the comfort of our guests during the summer months, converting to a heating system during the cooler season, complimented by an open log fire.

The colourful, mature garden consists of a beautiful pool that is bathed in sunshine all day and is surrounded by a terrace containing sun beds, tables, parasols and BBQ. After watching a beautiful sunset, the garden and pool are fully lit for a romantic evening.

The Villa is a non-smoking establishment, although ash trays are provided, for guests wishing to smoke outside.

Linen and towels are included and laundered weekly or upon change over. The pool is cleaned twice weekly to ensure safe bathing. Also included are beach towels for all guests.

Changeover day is flexible. Although 10.00 is the time that we expect our guests to vacate the villa, should no other guests be arriving that day then there would not be a time for vacating. We will liaise, nearer the time, with guests.

We stayed at this villa from 15th july to july 29th, our party was 2 adult and 3 children. the villa was fantastic and had everything you might need a truly home from home. the pool was a lovely bonus and the gardens were well looked after and made all the neighbouring gardens look bad. you really need a car but because you are a way away from things the peace is fantastic, all we could hear was the splashing of the pool, our kids were in there in the morning and untill late at night too. John and Jayne was so helpful from the time we contacted them it was like we had known them for years. This villa is lovely and well worth a two week stay

HOME AWAY FROM HOME.

This lovely villa is truly a home away from home. It was our second stay as a family here, and it had everything we needed and more! We were very impressed with the Welcome Pack provided! The thought that has been put in to give that personal touch must be mentioned. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread, butter, local honey, biscuits, cold drinks for the kids, red wine, white wine and a few beers for us when we arrive late at night is very thoughtful and not something we have experienced before.
John and Jayne strive to make their villa as comfortable as possible and so the additions of the ceiling fans, BBQ and new TV setup have really achieved this. It made our holiday that we could all sit outside, at the pool area having dinner, and planning the next days adventure. My hubby was really excited that he could watch the football and GP from home with a cold Keo in his hand!
The pool and garden were both very well kept.
The villa is also very well located, for both sightseeing and visiting the local tavernas. The information pack provided gave us many ideas and I must recommend the hiring of the dune buggies! It was a really lovely way to drive to Latchi and back. The recommended walks were good for the whole family and we really enjoyed collecting pebbles along the way.
Famagusta Taverna is also recommended for a family meal and we were very impressed by this local Restuarant. Great setting, location, atmosphere, food and price. We highly recommend trying it if you plan to eat out.
Thank-you, once again, John and Jayne for providing us with lovely memories! We will be back.

EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY

The property has everything that you could possibly need. It is positioned away from the hustle of Paphos in a nice quiet area with great views. You do need a car to get about anywhere. It would've been nice to have a local restaurant within walking distance so that we didnt have to drive out every night, but there was plenty of choice within a 5-10 minute drive. The kitchen facilities are excellent, plenty of pots, pans etc and the lounge area is nice and spacious. The pool was great for kids, not too deep and plenty of sun all day to enjoy. Would use again and recommend to friends and family.

This vila was al we wanted. Plenty of room well equiped and decorated. The pool was just so nice to relax in after a long day. Yes you do need a car but to see so much of Cyprus it's necessay anyway.
We got lots of support and advice from the owners and the local management team.
Very impressed and we could see why the previous reviews were so positive. We would both visit again and recommend to our family and friends

YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME.

My partner and I needed to just get away and discover somewhere new. We booked our flights to Larnaca, from Singapore, and chose to stay at this beautiful villa with our family.

We had the most amazing time. The villa is magnificent and catered easily for 6 of us. The location is perfect - close to town, the beaches aswell as the surrounding hills. It is about 15 minutes drive from Paphos airport, thus making it very convenient for travel. It caters for your every need - pool, sunbeds, airconditioning, open air balconies, well equipped kitchen, open plan lounge and diningroom. There are also games and books available for your perusal.

During the day, we discovered Paphos and it's surrounds. We took dune buggies out over the Akamas, stopping in at Turtle Bay. We also drove to Troodos and Mount Olympos via Omodos and the vineyards along the way, or we stayed "at home" and swam, played volleyball, lay on the sunbeds or had a BBQ. At night, we dined at the harbour front, or at the quaint tavernas in town. The seafood is so fresh, the calamari melts in your mouth, and the meze overflows from your plate.

The market in the old town is a must - the most beautiful tablecloths and handwoven lace articles are available here. The farmers market is at the entrance where I tasted the sweetest oranges I've ever eaten!

The time we spent in this magical place was not enough and we vwill definately be returning in the near future to add to the wonderful memories we've already made.

Our stay would not be complete without returning to our "home away from home".

The villa is built in a small quiet close in a residential area in the village of Emba. The local supermarket stocks a full range of products, from local produce to Heinz Beans! There are several food outlets selling traditional Cypriot food, fresh fish and a bakery, along with traditional Tavernas, all within a few minutes walk.

The surrounding villages of Lempa, Chlorakas and Kisonerga all have local restaurants.

Coral Bay is a few minutes drive away. The atmospheric high street is full of bars and restaurants which have characters of their own. A few minutes drive further on leads you to sandy beaches and water sport activities.

Paphos main town and harbour are in the opposite direction, where facilities are abundant. There are two contrasting areas, The Harbour - with its many restaurants or Bar Street - for club land and bars.

We recommend car hire, or alternatively, the local taxi firm that we recommend are always available to take you to the shops, beach, restaurants or local attractions. They will collect very promptly from the villa or your choice of venue. They are also bookable in advance. There is a timetabled bus service into Paphos which runs approximately every two hours.

Golf: On offer in Cyprus are several challenging, world class golf courses, warm hospitality and practically all year round sunshine. Golf was popularised in Cyprus in the late 1990s, so it is a relatively new sport to the country. The Cyprus Golf Federation was established in 2000, its main objective to promote and manage amateur golf on the island. The golf courses on Cyprus are clustered around the popular tourist areas of Paphos and Larnaca, in beautiful valley and hillside locations.

The Tsada Golf Club can lay claim to being the first grass golf course built in Cyprus. Completed in 1994, it is located 20 minutes from Paphos and is elevated 550m above sea level, ensuring a calming cool breeze during the warm summer months.

The Aphrodite Hills Golf Club is located near Paphos in Cyprus, overlooking the Mediterranean, taking its name from the birthplace of Aphrodite, which it overlooks. Aphrodite Hills has been described as an award winning 18 hole championship golf course and academy.

The Secret Valley Golf Club is probably the most prestigious golf course in Cyprus, located in the famous area of Petra tou Romiou, the birthplace of Aphrodite, 18km east of Paphos and 49km west of Limassol.

Ski: The Cyprus Ski Club was created on March 2, 1947 and since then it has a leading role in the development of skiing on the island. The first lift was built and operated on the eastern face of Mt Olympus using primitive equipment, while a second lift was built in 1951 near the 'Dolphin' restaurant, to the west of Troodos Square (the remnants of this lift, which was powered by the engine of a Ford truck, can still be seen).

After the independence of Cyprus in 1960, the Ski Club developed into its modern form, with a ski Federation under the auspices of the FIS, and four regional clubs (Nicosia, Limassol, Troodos, and Famagusta) competing in various skiing competitions. Until 1968, mobile lifts operated by the British Army were used, but in 1968 the first lift owned by the CSC was built at Sun Valley 1. Hair dryers, bed linen and towels (house and beach) are provided in each room. A cot is available for our younger guests. A single and double futon completes the sleeping arrangements.
