For the most discriminating guests Casa de Balboa is a five star property. We are perfectly located (shops and restaurants are plentiful and close by, no need to drive) in a quiet family area with the best views in Newport Beach. Have the best of BOTH - the Ocean and the Bay!! We are bay beachfront (water and sand 30ft away) and on a turning basin with all the boating activity one can expect in one of the worlds most beautiful harbours which hosts the world famous Newport Harbor Christmas Boat Parade (turns in front). Cross one street for the ocean too! We are located where the ocean water is closest to the board walk and can be seen from the Casas. Watch the surfers and Dory fishing fleet bring in their catch each day or catch the ferry to Balboa Isle. It simply can’t get any better! For the most discriminating guests. Casa 225 is a beautifully decorated, second-level, three-bedroom/two-bath beachfront Casa. It offers a Great Room and a fully-appointed gourmet kitchen (including a Viking range). This home was recently extensively renovated. The floors, including the master bedroom floor, are lovely maple hardwood. The living room has a lovely seagrass rug atop the wood. The fully-appointed gourmet kitchen has stainless steel appliances including a professional Viking range, granite counter tops, and custom cabinetry. The kitchen is open to the Great Room with gorgeous views. There is a laundry off the kitchen. The decor is upscale beachy with slip-covered furniture and beautiful artwork. It's painted in a soothing neutral palette - designed to enhance the lovely water view. All Casas are wonderfully equipped to the highest standards. Casa de Balboa is perfectly located on Balboa Peninsula with ferry service to Balboa Island. The peninsula is primarily divided by one road, Balboa Boulevard, with a short block on either side with the ocean or bay. You can see the lifeguard stands from both the bay and ocean beaches as well as the boardwalk. We have a premium location across from a beautiful large bay beach (Mother's Beach) which is reverse L shaped. We are located on the bottom part of the L jutting into the bay with views across Newport Bay of Fashion Island and Newport Coast. The water and sand is 30ft away! The view is particularly lovely at night with city and bay lights. We are easy to get to minutes from SNA, 30 min from LGB, and 45 from LAX. The Casas are 15 minutes to Disneyland, 25 to Knotts Berry Farm, and approx 45 minutes to Hollywood. You can see and do it all then return to your Casa for respite. Dear Pam,

It has been several months since our stay at Casa de Balboa. We are still talking about it!! The quality and attention to detail were impressive. The extras that you regularly provide were greatly appreciated, especially the very clean high chair. We were so pleased with the beautiful furnishings and decor. The Heavenly Bed was very nice extra, too! The location was perfect. Our day trips to Disney and Laguna Beach took less than 30 minutes. We enjoyed watching our daughter search for shells at the bay beach, while we watched from the patio. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We look forward to a return trip. We hope you and your family are doing well.

I just returned from a week at the Casa. It was wonderful. The weather was perfect, the views incredible. You can park you car for days on end and just walk to resturants and the beach. I hope to come back next year.

I spent a glorious week at Casa Balboa 225. The house and views exceeded my expectations. The furnishings were very tastefully done while being beachhouse comfortable, the bathrooms, kitchen and closets all remodeled, up-to-date and easy to use. I highly recommend this property and hope to return someday soon.

We had a wonderful week at Casa de Balboa. Not only is the house well located (two short blocks) for traditional California beach fun (i.e. body surfing,boogie boarding, bike riding) but there is also a wonderful beach just across from the house with a calm swimming area - particularly good for younger kids. Pam and her husband are wonderful sources of information and incredibly accomodating. The house itself is beautifully decorated and spotless. We cooked in several nights and thoroughly enjoyed the well appointed kitchen. And, every morning we woke up to the beautiful view of the bay and the harbor boats. This ranks up there with one of the best houses we have ever rented!
