This beautifully restored 15th C stone Tuscan Country house is set in the heart of the Countryside, yet only 10 km from Florence, a 5 min walk from a golf course & a 5 min walk from a Country Health Club. This comfortable & spacious detached country house with private pool, is situated within a very pretty, mature garden with wonderful views over the traditional Tuscan countryside. The property has been carefully renovated, retaining original features such as beamed ceilings, traditional flooring, & a stunning stone fireplace. There are lots of comfy sofas all over the house, making the property ideal for evenings in and for out of season bookings. There are many large windows, some of which are arched, which gives a very airy feeling to the property. There are 3bedrooms, one of which also has its own ‘suite’ -for that extra privacy! There is a large covered terrace for al fresco eating and an outdoor living area too, for perfect relaxation with that bottle of Chianti!

This entirely private villa is situated in a beautiful residential area in the heart of the Chianti Countryside, only 10 kms from Florence. There is an 18 hole golf course (Italy’s oldest) only a 5 minute walk away, and also only a 5 minute walk from the Chianti Country Club with its tennis courts, gym, restaurant, tree climbing etc. There are many other restaurants within a 10 minute drive and three villages with various facilities between 3 and 5 km. The designer outlets of the region are only a short drive away (the owner can take you) as is horse riding. Or, why not visit local vineyards, or olive oil making plants. If you tire of the garden, or visiting the beautiful hill top villages, further afield you will find Siena is 1 hr; Lucca 1 hr; Pisa 1 hr 20 mins; montecatini 50 mins; San Gimignano 55 mins; beach at Versilia Coast, 1 hr 20 mins

There are many sofas all over the living area, and also a piano. The living room leads through to spacious dining room with dining for 8, and a traditional indoor bread oven/fire place. Again, there are beamed ceilings and a large arch window overlooking loggia which itself has conservatory furniture for outdoor relaxing. The dining room leads through to the compact but pretty traditional style fully equipped kitchen, The living room is split by the stair case which leads up to first floor where on the left is the master bedroom suite, with bed, living area, & en-suite shower room. To the right is a large landing with sofa and desk, leading to two further bedrooms and bathroom. The mature garden has a swimming pool 8M x 11M - kidney shaped, with great views, BBQ, Gazebos, loggia.

The garden: The mature sweet smelling 3000 sq meters garden is a haven for relaxation! There are beautiful shrubs all around, lots of relaxing areas, with sun beds and relaxer chairs scattered throughout. The luxurious covered terrace spanning the back of the house boasts views over uninterrupted Tuscan Countryside - rolling hills, vineyards, and tiny hilltop villages. Why not stay outside all day? The terrace has comfortable relaxing furniture as well as a large dining table for al fresco living. There are also plenty of gazebos, the beautiful kidney shaped pool 12M x 7M. There is also private parking.

We had an excellent stay here ! The grounds are spacious, beautiful and well kept. The owners next door are extremely friendly but also unobtrusive. Really nice pool. Florence is a short drive away - you would definitely want a car for this villa. A peaceful site and a lovely restored building with many original features. The kitchen was a little small but that was no problem for us as it was well equipped. Definitely recommended.
