Halfmoon Bay Cottage Rental Photos and Description
Cottage, 3 Bedrooms, 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 6)
Ten oceanfront acres await you in Halfmoon Bay! Falling Creek Cottage is nestled on the edge of a secluded cove and surrounded by beautiful woods. Awake to the sound of the babbling creek flowing into the bay below. Sip your tea on the deck while watching the resident eagles, ducks, gulls and otters come alive.
Just steps from the water's edge, you'll have easy access for swimming, sunning, fishing and paddling in either of our rowboats or your own vessel. Take the trails for an easy tour of the property and hike to the high bluff to watch the spectacular sunsets. Whatever your favorite way to relax, indulge!
You will feel right at home with a fully-equipped, oceanview kitchen and all the comfortable amenities. Try your luck at catching dinner - or let the local fishermen do the catching - and have a true West coast seaside barbeque over the open firepit and grill. Yummmm!
Once you reach Sunset Cove, you will never want to leave. But, be sure to explore all the wonderful things that the Sunshine Coast has to offer. Countless and varied hiking and biking trails take you to magical places impossible to see from your car. Bring your kayaks, canoes, or boat (or rent them nearby) to see the coast, inlets and lakes by water.
Or, bring your clubs and play a round of golf on the local links. If you like exploring indoors, the coast is home to many artists who display their work in public and private galleries. Discover the history of the area in the local museums or visit the Chapman Creek Fish Hatchery and learn about spawning salmon.
Perfect for a couple, family or group, Falling Creek Cottage is the ideal place to find peace and serenity and a home base from which to recreate in your own way.

Thank you for the return check-up. We had a great time at the cottage! The hi-lite I think was seeing that baby seal on the rocks right down at the steps! The wild life was so great and the surroundings so relaxing! You sure do take care of your guests well! I hope if we ever return to the Sunhsine Coast the cabin will be available for us once again!
Thank you for making our holiday a great memory!
We fell in love with the Sunshine Coast on our first visit, September 2000. The surrounding nature, the small-town feel, the people ... the blackberries ... it was all wonderful!
When we first saw this beautiful property, we peeked in the window of the cottage and made a commitment to do whatever we could to have this little piece of paradise. So, we ran home and sold everything we owned and now we're able to share it with everyone who visits.
For us, as soon as we turn off the Sunshine Coast Hwy. onto our long, winding driveway, there's an immediate sense of calm and relaxation as we're drawn through the trees and down to the water's edge. We love the sound of the flowing creek coming from the mountains behind us into the bay below, the room to roam over the ten acres and the local wildlife that come to play in the cove.
