Photos and Description of the Salzburg vacation apartment rental The 3 room apartment is for up to 5 and the 2 room apt. for up to 4 persons

The apartments are both on the first floor (above the ground floor) in the same building. The house has altogether 5 apartments and a private parking place for each apartment in the yard. It is situated in a quiet neighbourhood, 10-15 walking minutes to the center of the old city. There are 2 restaurants at about 2-4 minutes walking distance. and another 5 at 6-8 minutes walking distance. A bakery and 2 supermarkets are also about 6-8 walking minutes away. On the ground floor there is a washing room common to both apartments with a washing machine and tumble drier (no extra charge). In the little garden in the back, there is a hut for bicycles, in case you want to rent a bike 3-4 walking minutes away, bus number 27 will take you to the center and to the train station.. From the apartments you can reach most of Salzburgs attractions by walking. The fortress, museums, the Festspielhaus where most concerts and operas of the Salzburg fstivals take place, Miirabellgarden , etc.

The apartment (75 m²) features three rooms, balcony and is perfect for 5 people. The living room is equiped with a sofa-corner, Sat-TV, DVD, video recorder, hammock, bean bags and Floccati-carpet. An additional person can easily sleep on one of the sofas. The bedroom has a new double bed, spacious wardrobe and a television. The third room has a sofa which opens into a comfortable double bed , a library, desk and chair and access to the balcony. For your literary leisure choose from our wide range of books located in the pretty and spacious lobby and in the third room's library. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, large fridge, E-stove, oven, microwave, toaster, a coffee machine, juicer, etc.... A large table provides enough space for 6 people. In addition: shower and WC , hair dryer washing machine and drying machine baby bed, baby high chair bed linen and towels are included. This is a non-smoker apartment. Smoking only on the balcony.

The apartments are located at Ganshofstrasse 18, close to the historical center, in the part of the city called Max Glan. It is about 8 minutes driving distance from the airport and from the freeway and about 10 minutes driving distance from the train station. How to get there: Coming form the freeway A 10 EXIT Salzburg Airport, go ahead to the first traffic light, then turn left to the Innsbrucker Bundesstrasse. At the end of Innsbrucker Bundesstrasse turn right to Maxglaner Hauptstrasse. After having passed a small bridge, turn immediately left to Straubingerstrasse. At the end of Straubingerstrasse turn left to Ganshofstrasse. It's the second house on the left side, a light green house. From the airport. Take either a taxi or bus number 2 to station Hans Schmid Platz. Go back about 100 meters until you see a sign 'zum Gasthof zur Einkehr', Before this sign turn right into the narrow way and then right into Ganshofstrasse up to number 18

A friend and I used this apartment in June 2009. It is compact but the level of equipment provided is excellent. The apartment was in good condition and immaculately clean.
It is in a quiet suburb of Salzburgh with a nearby bus route both to the city centre and to the main railway station. There is a gasthof within two minutes walk which provided adequate meals and friendly service. There is also a small supermarket about ten minutes walk away where one can buy essentials.
The owner was extremely helpful, informing us and then arranging transport from Munich airport directly to the apartment.

Very well equipped flat

I loved staying in the large 2 bedroom flat with my two children. We spent a very comfortable week in it. One of the bedrooms however only has a sofa bed and most of the lounge seating is on the floor but the hammock in the lounge made it an excellent childrens den. There are also games and a playstation 1 for the kids.

Ruth was very kind and because we arrived at a date and time when the shops were shut for 3 full days, she got a few essentials in for us.

The flat is certainly very well equipped and we had all the comforts of home available for us to use. I loved cooking in the kitchen! We also paid a little extra for the internet and brought our own computer which was fortunate really as the computer in the flat has limited functionality and is only ok for e-mails and basic surfing.

The flat certainly was wll situated and we found our way into the old town on foot. If we come back
to Salzburg, we would certainly book this flat again! Thanks so much!

Apartment in Salzburgerland

We, a middel-aged couple have good experiences with
the apartment. In detail: The distance to the centre of Salzburg
is easily accessible bij bus. The house lies in a quiet quarter of Salzburg. There are restaurants quit near (Gasthof) and a Pizzaria where you can order take-away pizza's.
There is a bakery on walking distance.
A big supermarket is too far to walk to.
The place itself has good facilities: t.v., magnetron, dishwasher.
In the building are laundryfacilities, which is very useful.
The beds are long-seized and of good quality.

Nice apartment near the City center of Salzburg

Really nice equipped apartment, clean, provided everything we needed from kitchen appliances (microwave, watter heater, coffee maker...), two tv-s, DVD, bedding, towels etc. to smallest details like city plan and toys for our baby.
Nice and quiet neighborhood.
I You have car, You are 5min away from everything in Salzburg. If You walk, or use a public transport, there is a bit of a problem, but You can manage it (we could with a baby), and this is an only thing I could take as a miss advantage.
Everything else is great!

We spent 2 weeks in the 3 room apartment and had a really great time. The apartment is very spacious .. It was meticulously clean and very well equipped. In the kitchen plenty of dishes and everything you could wish for. It was the best equipped kitchen we ever had in a holiday apartment. On rainy days we also enjoyed the big library and games. . The apartment is very conveniently located. it is a pleasant 15 minutes walk to the old city. It is in a nice, quiet neighbourhood, very close to a bus stop, bakery and grocery store. You can park the car in the yard near the house.
The owner has thought of everything possible to make her guests feel at home. I would definitely recommend this apartment.
