Touring the area:
To spend some time in this unique Burren landscape is to experience the delight of the region, timeless, austere beauty of hills, valley, sky and sea. From May to September the colours of the landscape change as plants, flowers and the beauty of wild butterflies mammals and bird life adds to this unique place. The house is located in the north western corner of County Clare. This area commands magnificent views of the Aran Islands (one of which, Inisheer, can be reached from Doolin) and Galway Bay. This is the ideal location for touring the West of Ireland, Connemara, the Shannon region and Kerry. Some of the top attractions of the region are all within 10 miles of the house, Alliwee Caves, Poulnabrone dolmen. the Cliffs of Moher with its recently opened interpretive centre. The villages of Ballyvaughan, Kinvara, Doolin, Lisdoonvarna and the town of Ennis offer a special Irish hospitality, with wonderful restaurants, pubs and speciality shops.
