San Pedro lies beneath the dramatic Sierra Bermeja mountain range. The town has an authentic Spanish atmosphere - winding streets of white washed buildings boutique shops, small cafes and restaurants. There is a picturesque church in the town square where locals gather to listen to bands on a Sunday evening.
In winter the streets are lined with trees full of oranges and birds of passion flowers line the roadways. In summer, the area is famous for its bouganvilla, and the scents of jasmine and other flowers pervade the evening air.
The yachts of Puerta Banus and Orange Square,Marbella & beach is a 5 minute drive with a great paseo & churingitos (fishing restaurants). Great play area on beach for children.
Short drive to the whitewashed mountain villages of Benehavis renowned for it's culinary excellence and artists studios or to Rhonda with its famous bull ring and magnificent views.
Convenient for trips to Gibralta, Cadiz, Granada for skiing (2hrs) also North Africa.

Then wonder through tropical gardens to the Avenida del Mar lined with incredible sculptures by Salvador Dali. Finish the night at one of Marbella's trendy beachfront restaurants looking out to the Mediterranean.

Golf:
There are more than forty golf courses on the Costa del Sol, of which ten are in Marbella area.
It is now one of the best areas in Spain for golf and offers some of the top courses in the world.
The nearest golf course to the villa is CLUB DE GOLF de Gauadalmina [Urb. Guadalmina Alta, San Pedro de Alcántara. consists of two different courses: south course and north course.
