With stunning sea views of the Atlantic Ocean and Deserted Islands. Villa Estrilicia offers 3 double bedrooms all with French windows leading to balconies overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Bedroom 1 en- suite bathroom and walk in wardrobe, bedrooms 2 & 3 have double beds and fitted wardrobes. There are a further two bathrooms with walk in shower and bath. Large fully fitted kitchen with French windows leading to patio with stunning sea views, BBQ area and Patio furniture, Beautiful lounge area with satellite TV, DVD and stereo player, and double Patio doors leading to sun terrace with seating and beautiful sea views.

Located in the rural village of Agua de Pena which is situated between the charming towns of Machico with its golden sand beach and Santa Cruz. Villa Estrilicia is only 5 minutes from Machico and 10 minutes from SantaCruz and both offer a wealth of activities and things to do which include traditional bars and restaurants, Markets selling fresh fish, meats and vegetables, all grown and caught locally a supermarket post office, Bank and cash machines There are also Mariners, Promenades a golden sand beach and the only Water Park on the Island. For those who enjoy Golf there is Santo da Serra Golf course and for walkers the National park with its levada walks and spectacular views are both only 15 minutes from Villa Estrilicia. Funchal the capital of Madeira is approximately 15 minutes from Agua da Pena.

  • Please note that the price for the villa Estrilicia are for 6 people if requested we are able to place extra beds in the villa. Price for extra person/week 90 euros.
  • A 30% deposit must be paid to secure the booking and is none refundable after 8 weeks prior to arrival. The balance must be received no later than 6 weeks prior to arrival. Bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival must be paid in full. Payments can be made in Sterling or Euros by bank transfer. On departure day the villa must be vacated by 10am .

Wij hebben een super vakantie gehad in "onze" villa in Machico, het huis is ruim, gezellig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. De eigenaars zijn zeer behulpzaam en heel erg aardig. De villa ligt hoog maar met de auto ben je snel bij de supermarkt en op 5 min. rijden ligt het strand. Een auto is absoluut een must!! Kortom dit huis is een aanrader! Jeanette en Antonio, Den Haag Holland.
We had een great holiday in the villa and enjoyed every minute!!! Hope to see you in a next holiday!! Lots of love from Antonio, Jeanette and kids

Property proved to be charming and spacious with spectacular views and small but pretty garden. Location private but extremely convenient for supermarket and beach. Will seriously consider using property again but will take more warm clothes for the evenings which are chilly in March.. Local agent courteous and helpful. Arthur and Alison

Staying in villa estrilicia in madeira island was one of the best holiday and experiences we've ever had. The location of the villa with it's seaviews was a dream come true. Local aminities were only a bus ride away. We wanted to learn and feel part of the local culture and we did. The locals were very friendly.

The villa was luxurious and with clean with a minilist lines and furnishing. Before the end of our first week I wanted to buy the villa. On returned to england, I visisted the web site almost week to book a date for august 2008. By the time I was ready to contact Craig and Maria, all the dates were booked to next year 2009. I was gutted that even dates for 2009 has been provisionally booked. We want to visit Madeira again but no other properties with such luxury and reasonably rental rates could be matched. I will recommended the villa for any families who are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday.

What amazinf views

The pictures cannot capture the stunning views there are from this property. Our daughter who is studying photography at university had her tripod permanatly on the balcony capturing the fantastic cloud formations. The vista changes by the hour and is breathtaking. The property is modern and furnished to a very high standard and well equipt. Maria and Clive make you very welcome. Good area to tour this beautiful island

A Week in February

Having spent the first week in February at this beautiful villa I can only say that it is superb. It is very spacious and the gardens are well maintained, it is furnished to a very high standard and the bedrooms are beautifuly situated with a frontal aspect looking out to sea. There are few shops and ammenities close to the villa and we felt that a car was essential, however the roads in Madeira are not for people with a nervous disposition. The road up to the villa is extremely steep and may cause a problem for the infirm, however with a car this is easily overcome. The owner also owns a restaurant in Santo da Serra, which is well worth a visit.
