A lovely renovated, spacious and modern two bedroom apartment in the centre of the historic town of Lagos. Situated in one of the main streets 2 minutes walk from town centre and seven minutes walk from nearest beach. Set in a traditional style townhouse it offers a comfortable sunny lounge, large kitchen/diner with fridge and freezer,gas hob/electric oven, one double and one twin bedroom, two street balconies both south-facing and a large private roof terrace, perfect for sunbathing/ barbecuing, with rooftop and ocean views, Sky (UK) TV and satellite dish, CD player/radio and DVD player, a bathroom with shower, WC & bath and a separate WC. It also has a dishwasher, washing machine, iron, toaster, microwave, and roof terrace and balcony furniture. Ideal for non-drivers where everything you need is close by and to hand.

In and around Lagos: Jenny & Laban hope you will enjoy their apartment which is also their home when they are in Portugal. The ancient walls of the town within which Glenmore Apartment is situated are steeped in history although now the town is youthful & bustling with a refreshing charm all of its own. It is an easy place to be to while away your time or use as a base from which to explore the western Algarve.
The town is historically significant and the Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans and Moors have all been and left their marks. Restaurants are plentiful & varied and within a few minutes walk from Glenmore. The slave market was the site of Portugal's first slave trading of African slaves. Lagos has three of the twenty-five golf courses in the Algarve within 10 minutes drive from the town. You can take a boat ride or walk to the Ponta da Piedade, a fantastically shaped headland of remarkable beauty. There are many excellent beaches the nearest being only 7 minutes walk from Glenmore apartment.

We wanted an apartment in the very hart of Lagos with easy access to all surroundings including restaurants and the beach. A must for us was to have a roof terrace where you could enjoy spending time overlooking city live as well as the sea view. We felt that the apartment has a lot of light, is spacious and has its own charm. The kids certainly enjoy only having to walk 4 meters to buy breakfast and that there is a fruit shop around the corner.
Jenny's parents live in Praia da Luz which is one of the reasons we wanted to have a holiday home close by.

Lagos Town Center is 78 kilometers from Faro. Driving time is about 50 minutes on the A22 four lane motorway.
Hire car firms will meet and take you to Lagos and the fare is around £80.00 return for four people (Season dependent).
The Lagos Marina is five minutes walk from Glenmore Apartment. There are boat trips for viewing caves, snorkeling and sea fishing as well as dolphin watching. Being surrounded by golf courses, country preservation areas and places of natural beauty, the surrounding 16th century fortresses are worth a visit. The local beach is only 10 minutes easy walk from the apartment and more lovely beaches at Praia da Luz,Burgau and Alvor easily reachable by car or bus. Meia Pria beach, nearly a mile long, is15 minutes walk from Glenmore apartment.
Sagres (The End of the World) and Cape St Vincent is wildly beautiful. Lagos is centrally located in Algarve to visit East or West towns and cities and is about 3 hours by car from Lisbon or two hours to the Spanish border

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (EUR) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
