Beautiful Lodge! Immaculate and spacious, we had a fantastic stay. The location is perfect in central Northumberland, with plenty do to. We went out and about bird watching, there are some nice hides nearby at Hauxley, and the lads loved the mountain biking. We also enjoyed some lovely walks. The lodge was perfect to return to in the evenings having everything we could possibly need. Will definitely return in the future and would recommend to anyone.

A beautiful home to relax in

Myself, husband and baby have ust stayed at this lodge and it is beautiful. Its about a 15 minute walk to the beach via the country park and is a great base for exploring the northumberland coastline.

The lodge is equipped with everything you could possibly wish for. Definately home from home. Luxurious and modern yet comfortable and homely. It has a lovely outdoor area with garden, decking and pebbled areas and even a childrens playhouse. It has a huge family kitchen and spacious bedrooms. The kids shouldn't get bored here at all, even on good old english rainy days.

We would definately stay again and would recommend to anyone but especially families with children. We even had pretty good weather for the time of the year.

The owners were always easy to get hold of and made us feel very welcome.

Excellent property! We had high hopes from the description and wasn’t disappointed one bit. Everything had obviously been thought about to make our stay a bit special and it was.
It is a great rental for anyone with kids and the local beach is huge, and our kids had a brilliant time exploring those rock pools.
Will definitely recommend to our friends and hope to return next year and stay longer.

Druridge Bay Lodge Lovely...

Review Submitted: September 15, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
We were initially abit sceptical upon arrival as the house is within a housing estate.
However this aprehension was eliminated as soon as we opened the door!
Everything in the house was immaculate. We had everything we couold possibly need and more. Every thought has been put into providing for the guests. Even down to toys for the kids buckets and spades and picnic equipment.
Our children found the house very enchanting as they discovered toys and book in many different places. They were delighted with the play house and dress up clothes. We had some lovely lazy mornings breakfasting in the garden whilst they played happily with all the toys.
They were especially delighted by the chocolate lollies on arrival. But not as delighted as we were with the bottle of wine for us!
AND even better than all this - our children WANTED to go to bed!!! They loved the magic lights the windows in the ceiling! And choosing a new story everynight.
We hope to return next year and maybe even have a couple of long weekends. Perfect location and all the info on the local area supplied.
