In the Tatra Mountains, you will be spoilt for choice in which to indulge your favourite pastimes - hikers and bikers finding plenty of spectacular terrain to explore and anyone keen on watersports or fishing will have the choice of several beautiful mountain lakes and rivers. The house itself is very spacious and comfortable. Its construction dates back to 1850. In recent years the house has been completely renovated whilst still retaining its original features such as wooden beam ceiling. All rooms are light and spacious, with wooden or ceramic floors with beautiful forest views. The house has 3 beds and 5 other pull down beds. Lots of storage space available for skis and other equipment. Dovalova s a small village with its own community, but which also welcomes skiers and walkers to this beautiful and traditional setting.

The cottage also has the advantage of having a large garden and adjoining field, which provides a great secure location for families to rest and play. Just 2 km from 13th century Hradok Castle (with bar and restaurant). The renowned cultural town of Liptovský Mikuláš, named after Saint Nicholas is only a 15 minute drive away with lots of good restaurants and night life. Also home to Aquapark Tatralandia, the largest all-year water facility for fun and relaxation in Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland. Also within 20 minute drive are various spa / sauna, horseriding, golf, tennis, rafting facilities and magnificent ice caves.
