London Vacation Rental farmhouse: Felbridge

This is a modern house which has been very cleverly built about 20 years ago from very old reclaimed materials, to combine the best of the old and new, and to give the impression of a genuine 300 year old farmhouse. Its position on the tranquil Surrey/Sussex borders makes it an ideal location for a leisurely exploration of the countryside and also for travelling to Central London. The large grounds are very tucked away and are not overlooked, so give a very high degree of privacy. The ground floor of the house has been designed in a traditional open plan, with oak beams. There is a large L-shaped living area with a wood-burning stove and a leather sofa bed, a large fully-equipped kitchen (with a Rayburn) leading to the dining area, a utility room and a wet room with a w.c. The first floor has a very large master bedroom, with 2 king-size beds and an ensuite shower and w.c. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, and the third bedroom has a double bed.

Also, there is a large family bathroom. The house sleeps up to 10, with 8 in the bedrooms and 2 in the sofa bed. Outside, the very large private grounds are ideal for those who want to escape for a while from the outside world. Weddings and other functions can be arranged by prior arrangement.
