Extremely large 110M2 apartment in the heart of Anzere next to the cable car. The apartment has two large bedrooms, one large double and one which easily fits three single beds. There are two bathrooms and an additional cloakroom, Well equipped kitchen including dishwasher. There is a separate large dining area seating at least 8. An extensive hall leads to the lounge with large leather corner sofa, flat screen TV and wood burning fire and large rugs over slate floors. The picture window leads to a south facing balcony with panoramic views of the Rhone Valley. Another balcony serves the bedrooms to the rear. Situated next to the cable car you can ski directly to the back door. The apartment also benefits from a private secure garage. Anzere, a little known friendly mountain village with newly built Wellness Centre/Spa has over 50km of great skiing at an altitude topping 2500m. It is about 1.50hrs drive directly down the N9 from Geneva Airport or Direct trains from airport to Sion (2 hrs), then straight on bus to outside apartment (25 mins), a car is certainly not required in the village.

Apartment: The apartment offers spacious living accommodation for both Summer and Winter use.

The immediate access to the cable car together with being able to ski to the back door, make it perfect for winter skiing. The South facing balcony/terrace over looking the Rhone Valley and the Wellness Centre with outdoor pool, or the Lake make it great to enjoy through the Summer months with all the mountain biking and hiking trails around Anzere or nearby villages or towns.

The apartment was home for many years and therefore has many items left there. The result is a very homely atmosphere rather than a rental apartment.

Anzere is a very special, Swiss village situated on a South Facing Plateau and as such is the most Sunny resort I had ever visited. I fell in love with the apartment when I saw the view from the living room - one huge pane of glass straight out across the Rhone Valley.

What makes this apartment unique

The view is unbelievable and one of the best I have ever experienced. Add the sunny terrace with that view in front of it and that is why the apartment is so very special. Even in the middle of the ski season breakfast and evening drinks are often on the balcony......especially in March!!

Anzere is a friendly South Facing mountain Skvillage overlooking the Rhone Valley. Easily reachable by train direct to Sion or car from Geneva, both in well under 2 hours, it is a very pretty typical Swiss mountain village. Anzere is renowned for both its Winter Skiing and Summer walking/Biking holidays.For the skiers there are over 40km of piste reaching 2500m directly accessible by the back door of the apartment. In addition should you wish, Crans Montana(20 mins), Verbier, Saas Fee and Zermatt are all within easy reach. In addition to the World Famous Cran sur Sierre Golf course seen from the balcony, there are actually four 18 and 9 hole Courses within easy reach. For those not golfing the multitude of mountain bike trails, the walking routes, the large heated outdoor pool and other listed activities, makes Anzere a popular and friendly summer destination. The nature of the resort means although restaurants and bars are plentiful, late night discos do exist, but they are limited.

  • The bathrooms in the apartment are all fully tiled with blue mosaic tiles, white suites and chrome fittings. The bathroom is a large family room with plenty of room. The shower room is a large purpose build shower with superb pressure and again, plenty of space.

  • The main bedroom includes two single beds that are attached to form a large double. This room also contains fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers and dressing table. The sunny aspect of the room is highlighted by the balcony/terrace leading from it. The second bedroom with the large en-suite shower room has three single beds with their own shelving areas for lighting and books, chest of drawers, desk and fitted wardrobes are also in this room. As with the main bedroom, the sunny aspect is highlighted by its aspect to the balcony/terrace. In addition to the 'double' bed and three singles there is a 7 foot by 3.5 foot 'day' bed in the sitting room, which is comfortable to sleep on and separate from the sofa area.

This is the nicest ski apartment my family have stayed in. It was like being in someones home, but not fussy, not the normal sparse rental places. The location was fantastic with skiing on the doorstep and cable car next door, great family restaurants, we all loved it.

Clean, modern, spacious and great location

- You can reach all the major cities in Switzerland in less than 2 hours driving.
- France is an hour away.
- Milan, Italy is 3.5 hours away.
- Germany's Europapary is 3.5 hours away.
- Lots of facilities right across the street from this apartment; fantastic bakery, post office, bar, supermarket and restaurants. You can also rent a bike or go to a Spa & Wellness center at this 1500 meter above ground village.
- The apartment was furnished to be a home and felt a lot like one.
- The view from the balcony is amazing and it is a very quity peaceful place.
- Kitchen is more than enough.
- Its modern.
- Helpful trustworthy owners.

Second time to this apartment

This is a fantastic spot, we had been in 2010 and fancied a few extra days at the end of this season. Our first thought was to go back to Anzere, LisaJane the owner is fantastic and easy to deal with.

I stand by my points from last year great apartment, lovely little ski resort and plenty of skiing around their area - the one thing I can say is we will be back the family love it.

Anzere family ski week 27/03 to 03/04

What a great spot the apartment is a fantastic spot close to all the main facilities with the gondola a 2 minute walk away.

The apartment is well furnished and comfortable with fantastic views over the Valais valley, we could have sat and looked at them all day.

We used Anzere as a base to ski a few of the resorts around the area, we managed to do Crans Montana, Veysonnaz, Nendaz, Grimentz (our favourite but it did help that we had 30cm of fresh powder and the off piste was awesome) and Anzere.

Anzere should not be overlooked as it has some nice skiing for a day or two.

We would defiantly use this place again as it has all the facilities you need for a ski holiday.

Two minor negative points, we had six people in the apartment and there we only four duvets left for us. We tried to sort with local letting agent and they were little help and we had to make do with 4 between 6.

We also drove down and have a Q7 with roof box and it was to big to go in owners garage, we could park up undercover but outside the garage. We were never blocking anyone else space but had two messages left on our car saying we would be towed. Luckily the lady in the local bar spoke to the message leaver and we had no issues.

These two things however did not impact on our holiday and we would happily go back

A Splendid Holiday Apartment!

What a wonderful time we had in Anzere, and this rental apartment was just perfect! The apartment is very spacious, comfortable and well decorated. My family and I had such a grand time in the evenings after we came off the slopes sitting around the large dining table eating, laughing and telling stories. The tele-cabine is just out the back door. The views are spectacular. The village is delightful. The owners are splendid to work with and so helpful. We truely hope to return one day. Our thanks to Anzimob and especially the owners for making our holiday so special!
p.s. A visit to the restaurant "Le Grenier" is a must for those who visit Anzere!
