This first floor Apartment is located next to Apartment 'Claremont View' in a quiet block of flats tucked behind the High-Street overlooking a quiet service-road. It is a well managed development with friendly residents respecting each other's privacy. Entry phone door leads to hall and easy stairway to first floor. Back-door leads to landscaped, communial garden. The property has its own garage and parking-space. The two apartments can be booked together for extended families and friends or individually.

Shepperton offers a relaxed atmosphere with listed public footpaths, riverside walks, historic connections. River-trips along the river Thames down to London, golf, fishing. Trains to London depart every half hour and local buses operate to Heathrow and local places of great interest like Windsor, Hampton Court, Kingston, Staines, Walton, Weybridge for example. Cheap train-day-returns to London depart every half hour after 9.30. with free use of underground and buses all day. Further reduction for groups of 3 and 4. the last train from London-Waterloo to Shepperton departs after midnight. Travel-time is 50 munutes due to many stops. Distance to London is 18 miles. Both Shepperton and London-Waterloo are end-stops. The train-journey takes 50 minutes.

The owner is a terriffic lady - super helpful. The apartments were very comfortable and had all the conveniences you would need for your stay. The apartments are in a great location - only a few minutes drive to the motorway, easy walking distance to the train station, and you have supermarkets, coffee shops, bakeries, post office, banks etc. right around the corner. At the same time you are in a quiet, peaceful street with your own parking spaces. We had a great time and will DEFINATELY organise to stay here again next time we are in England. Thank you !!!

Summer Home Away From Home

Our family stayed at the Clarement apartment in June 2009 for 2 weeks to visit our British family. We had a long flight from Atlanta, Georgia (USA) to London Gatwick, with children in tow. Upon our arrival, we were easily able to retrieve the key and there was even a personal welcome note for us! The layout of the apartment was wonderful and provided everything we needed during our stay. The children slept in one room, and we slept in the other. Ernestina (our landlady) even provided a baby cot for our entire stay and had it set up for our arrival! The kitchen was stocked with coffee and other amenities. The property was clean and well-maintained, and in the flat there is Wi-Fi wireless (free) internet access. This was important to us as we had our laptop with us during our trip.

The Shepperton train station is only 3 minutes walk from the apartment, providing direct links into London Waterloo in approximately 30 minutes. Across the street from the flat, there are also grocery stores and restaurants! If you are interested in walks, the Thames River is not too far away and the bus stop is virtually across the street to take you to other villiages.

We only have wonderful things to say about our stay and Ernestina and Jim. We would certainly stay there anytime we are back in England and definitely recommend Claremont to friends and family!
