Maine-et-Loire Vacation Rental cottage: Allonnes

The property was recently renovated using a tasteful combination of traditional French and contemporary styles. The exposed walls and beams throughout, combined with galley type mezzanine spaces give this delightful cottage a lovely atmosphere. The house comprises of kitchen, with hob, small oven, microwave, washing machine, coffee percolator, toaster and table with cane lounge chairs. The comfortable lounge/dining-room has a sofa, chairs, stereo and French doors leading to the pretty gardens. There is a downstairs double bedroom with large wardrobe space and lovely views of the garden. Below the stairs there is a small day toilet with hand basin. On the first floor there is a double bedroom, bathroom with bath, shower, hand-basin and WC. There is also a double futon on the mezzanine floor, which also serves as the TV area with a 24in (61cm) TV and DVD player.

At the far end of the mezzanine level there is segregated office area with a stylish rap-around desk, comfortable office chair and a nice views of the rear garden. Views from the other upper floor windows stretch across the large gardens and surrounding orchards. For summer alfresco dining, enjoy a glass of local wine, or simply lazing in the sun, there is a BBQ and wooden garden furniture. Central heating is available in the cooler months. Linen and house towels are available upon request.
