Wonderful Condominium and Family Vacation!

What a wonderful place to escape to! This condomium is beautifully renovated with very tasteful island and earthtone colors, and elegant furniture! The kitchen was very well stocked and we found everything we needed easily. It was an extremely quiet complex, particularly considering it was school vacation time! Sitting out on the lanai, overlooking the lagoon, pool and ocean simultaneously -was wonderful. The beach had plenty of room and it was only a quick, little walk down the boardwalk. The "beach" closet with chairs and beach items was such a blessing! Renting bicycles to be delivered to the complex was very easy and allowed us to go anywhere we wanted to go including the nature centers, refuges, stores and restaurants. Of all the condominiums we have rented, this has truly been the best and working with Holly was a very pleasant experience!

Great vacation...

Our family stayed at Blue Lagoon for our spring break 2014. It was an amazing visit. We have stayed at Sand Pointe other years in different units, and this one was the best so far. We enjoyed everything about the condo, however, we were rarely inside:) Which, in our opinion, makes for a great vacation! Plenty to do on Sanibel and the pool and beach are literally steps away. We rented bikes for the week and didn't enter our car one time. Great place to stay and lovely to work with Holly. We had zero issues and hope to be back next year.

Recent stay on Sanibel.

We recently stayed in this condo at Sand Pointe. Overall, it was a restful and relaxing vacation. On the plus side, the owner is connected to a realty group and they allowed us to use their internet and printer to print our airline boarding and luggage passes, which was very convenient. Also, they were also accommodating with our late arrival and early morning departure.

The location of the condo on Sanibel was very convenient - easy to get around the island by car or foot (there is a bike path right across the street). The beach is beautiful (great shelling) and the facility has a smaller, but nice pool.

On the negative side we have three suggestions and one complaint. The condo was quite dusty - you could write your name on the light fixtures in the master bathroom. The carpeting seemed a bit worn out and didn't look very clean. In particular, the couch and chair in the living room need to be replaced. They were both worn out and very uncomfortable to sit on. Our big complaint relates to the return of our damage/security deposit. According to the contract, it is refundable within 21 days of departure, for us that would have been January 25. We met all the provisions for the refund and contacted the owner after four weeks following our departure regarding the refund. On February 6, we were told the "check was mailed out." We are still waiting for it to arrive more than two weeks later (and more than seven weeks since we checked out).

Incredible condo and beach!

This condo was exactly as pictured/described, if not even better! The entire condo was updated and well-maintained. The view was fantastic and we enjoyed the screened-in lanai for a bug-free outdoor living space :) This condo was close to the main roads so it was easy for us to ride our bikes to restaurants, the parade, stores, everywhere! I would also recommend kayaking in the bay- lots of fun! Holly was awesome and she was quick to answer my questions and kept me updated on the 4th of July activities. We loved this location and hope to return for future vacations!
