Better than a posh hotel

The house was lovely, with all of the feel of a posh hotel but with all of the comforts of home. It was incredibly clean and well-equipped (especially the kitchen!). The listing description was very accurate and we were very pleased with the amenities and equipment provided. Church House was a fantastic place to stay, and I'm looking forward to having an opportunity to spend time there again in the future.
The owner provided exceptional customer service and was incrediby friendly and helpful - especially ensuring keys were delivered on-time during the postal strikes. She also provided a very good amount of information about the house and local area so that it was easy to settle in and start our holiday. The welcome basket that was left for us was also incredibly generous, and really set the tone for our stay.
The area itself is wonderful if you want to spend time outdoors - the walking and cycling paths are extensive and link the towns together. We did use the bikes provided at the house, and it was nice to leave our car behind for a change. We had a great time finding provisions for dinner at the various local farm stands. We also had a luscious snack at Sara's Chocolates in Deal, a must-do if you have a sweet-tooth (and even if you don't!).
I would highly recommend this property to others - especially people in groups or large families. The rooms and bathrooms are generously proportioned, the kitchen well-stocked with crockery/cutlery, and the garden/outdoor space capable of accomodating a big crowd (we were sorry it wasn't warm enough to eat outside, although being able to use the fireplace more than made up for that!).
